Hotel LIVVO Lago Taurito & Aquapark

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone with children. You’re not allowed to use floats in the pool. The seawater in the water park burns your skin. You’re allocated times for all inclusive. Kids club is for 1hr30 which is a walk away. Dirty.

Family vacation with teenagers. We stayed in 2 family rooms on the 6th floor. The view was amazing from the balcony. Beautiful sunset every night. Food was good. Beach was close. Service was good. Overall a very good family vacation.

I'm not saying that everything is great, but you have to understand that it's a three-star hotel considering that the hotel is 3 stars. I don't know🤷‍♀️ why others complain about the food but it's really not bad, considering that the hotel is 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️the staff are perfect👏🤩👌

The experience at the hotel has not been a great one. The moment we arrived, we had to wait over 25 minutes to be issued an room key. Due to the drinks/ food areas closing at 2300, we were handed a brown paper bag with a badly sealed thin cheese & ham sandwich, small bottle of water, two tangerines & 1 small apple. A lot of late arriving guests went to the beach resturant and ate there. Despite paying for a twin room we were given an double room (516B). The room size was not as advertised on the TUI website and was significantly smaller. The adajacent room 516A was being used by the hotel as a storage room and was in constant use by staff, which meant no opportunity to relax. We went to complain about this was not what we booked and were told that due to poor availability there was no opportunity to be relocated. The room was extremely outdated with furniture which simply needed changing and fixing. This ranged from a wardrobe with sections of its front pamels chipped away and poorly rusting. The table next to the bed was uneven and rocked whenever items were laid on it. The curtains were poorly hanging from a rail and were in need of clinging. The metal spindle bedframe was flimsy, the pillows were long and narrow. The fridge which was encased in a furniture cabinet was over heated and filthy. The bedroom and bathroom mirrors in both rooms were permanently stained with marks. The bathroom shower fitting was lose. By the sink were two small packs of soaps and thin sachets of shampoo. Fifty percent of the bathroom floor tiles were broken or chipped. The TV had only had 3 english channels which were news ones. The walls were paper thin and during the night we could hear new arrivals on different floors. The air con system was a relic item and was ineffective. The room had a old heavily bobbled blanket which looked liked it had been in there for years and need to be thrown away. The option of a kettle was available for a 10 euro deposit, with a 2.50 euro daily charge and when my partner asked for one she was given a filthy one with no cups. When we asked at the cafeteria area for two cups for the room we were told no and given three Pepsi recycled small cups. The all inclusive experience and that is an adequate description for it was ridiculous. There were three allocated time slots to have breakfast, lunch and dinner which none of the guests were adhering to and the personel at desk were not interested in regulating rooms/ attendees. The selection of food and drinks was poor and the food was lukewarm. The plates were not cleaned properly with marks from food and the dishwasher. The sausages were uncooked in the middle and the roast beef was inedible. The all inclusive bars were serving waterdowned alcoholic drinks. The coke was flat and the hotel drinks area closed at 11pm. Hotel itself is ok but the food is shocking on the 3 rd day I caught food poisoning sickness and diarrhoea lasted for 3 days my 11 year old daughter had to stay in the hotel room with me as she is too young to venture out on her own the hotel and surrounded area are all inclusive so nowhere to eat except the hotel I contacted the hotel reception but they were not interested in me being really ill I have messaged TUI who were no help whatsoever the hotel TUI rep did phone me to say she was downstairs in the lobby but as I explained I was unable to get to the location mowing I would be ill on the way,after the 3 rd day I felt better in my self and was able to keep water down and the people in the next room was very helpful in taking my daughter to the dining room I was afraid she would catch it too but had no were else to get food from on the way home to the airport my daughter became poorly as well will same symptoms

Terrible hotel. Rooms need updating, ours didn’t lock from the inside so my 2 year old kept escaping. My brother in law had to wait nearly 12 hour for a cot for his 8 month old despite ringing in advance. When one did arrive, it had a giant rip in the side which she almost fell out of. One room also had a spare bed in it that looked rotten, ripped, and rusty. Upon removing this ourselves after being asked for it taken away, we found balls of hair (not belonging to us) and crumbs inside the bedding, so if any of us was to sleep in it, this is what we would have been greeted with. Every single staff member was rude, arrogant and unhelpful. The cleaners huffed and puffed when cleaning the rooms. The bedding didn’t get changed despite us saying our youngest had wet the bed, had to ask multiple times. Everything on site costs a fortune for the kids, so all inclusive is not worth it in the slightest because barely anything is included. The food tasted awful and is exactly the same every night, bland. The chicken nuggets were brown inside and the ‘pork’ was pink and uncooked. All of us ended up with a diarrhoea. The location isn’t close to anything so we ended up spending money everyday on the bus into Puerto Rico just to do something with the kids. You can’t get drinks with all inclusive in the water park so you have to come all the way out and up to the first floor in the lift just to get drinks - which you can’t take with you. Kids drinks aren’t free, all slushies are paid for. So despite being all inclusive we ended up buying drinks to take to the water park. I would never come here again, it’s never been all inclusive in the slightest. And to top it off, the lifts barely worked leaving us to walk down stairs with a single and double pram from the 8th floor.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, firstly my family of 6 all became really ill with sickness bug spending 3-4 days in a hotel room! When speaking to the pharmacy they informed us that a lot of people had fallen ill, Then when we checked out we left our bags in what was meant to be a secure place in the hotel to find items had been stolen! A total waste of money a holiday that should have been a fun filled family time was a disaster. DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL

Fantastic place for couples or families, nice relaxing getaway just what we needed. We booked it as a last minute checked the reviews and booked, we were very happy with the holiday in all. Room was immaculate and a nice big size. Wardrobe for storage if needed, but we just use our cases to keep our clothes in. Bathroom was clean tidy and stocked up with toilet roll, soap and two packets of shampoo in there. Food was really nice, I love a fresh salad and my husband loves meat and potatoes. There was a selection of both every day freshly cooked meat, cooked in front of you. Fruit juice is on tap and so is Pepsi, 7up. Pool was great but busy so sometimes you don't always get a sunbed, but with having free entry into the water park you can get a sun lounger in there as there's plenty of them. All in all a very nice hotel, staff were very friendly and we had a good laugh with them plus I got to practice my Spanish

We booked this hotel as a last minute get away cheap and cheerful to escape the rain in England. The hotel is ok its clean in the rooms and restaurants but it is very tired and could do with a makeover. The food is ok always something to eat but it is repetitive and we didn't like the food round the pool .We only used the pool once it was really busy and to small for the hotel .however the water park was fantastic.We hired mattress every day at €3 per sun lounger but worth it .We took drinks and crisps in from the supermarket and nobody said anything. There is also a huge smoking section so u don't have to sit by a smoker all day .We caught the bus into Pauto rico and had a great day and picked up some cheap gifts .The bars on the beach are also fantastic one is great for food the other is more lively with great music and entertainment if u fancy a change as the hotel entertainment is very repetitive and wine in a paper cup is naff tbh .overall though we had a great holiday I wouldn't come again as I've done everything here but I would recommend if u want a cheap and cheerful break
