Quinta da Lua

We spent 12 days at Miguel's beautiful BnB near Tavira. The staff is attentive and the premisses are super clean and very well maintained, with a special attention to small details. Access requires a car, but Tavira and the beaches are less than 10 minutes away.

We spent nine nights at this country inn. Our entire stay was outstanding. Staff were accommodating and the owner, Miguel, was helpful with suggestions about restaurants and visits to the beach. An eight minute drive into the city for dinner. Two good golf courses close by.

Picture perfect stay in summer condition. Beautiful place, attentive staff, a place to enjoy peace & quiet. The town Tavira is a gem, the Barril beach beautiful. Top restaurants abound, Miguel can give recommendations. A car is necessary, otherwise difficult to get around.

This is a little, hidden gem. Very small , wonderful service and incredibly quiet and relaxing. It’s officially a B and B but lunch can be requested. The pool and gardens are beautiful and so peaceful, just what we needed. I loved the fact that when breakfast is needed you simply sit outside your room, the table already laid and the breakfast instantly apprears ! A wonderful spread of fruits, pastries, cheese, Ham, eggs and granola. The pool is then 20 steps away. No rushing for sunbeds, we were allocated the same ones for duration of holiday. The honesty bar was very well equipped with hot , cold and alcoholic drinks as well as snacks. A 10 euro trip by taxi to Tavira. It also has its own sunbeds reserved at the beach. Miguel is an excellent host and together with his team, nothing is too much trouble. I particularly appreciated the refill of homemade biscuits , chocolate , water each day. We stayed for four nights in a group d floor deluxe room. If you want relaxation, this is the place. Thank you all.

This is an ideal place for a couple to relax in a quiet and very tasteful boutique hotel. This is a meticulously run hotel, closely managed by the owner, Miguel. Breakfast is of the Four Seasons variety and what we really liked was all the little things that made our stay really comfortable like beautiful port wine in the room topped up when used, an apple by your bed every day or the honesty bar where you can help yourself to whatever drink you like at very reasonable prices. Miguel’s local restaurant recommendations were spot on. We never would have found these places without his help, a couple of which , A Mesa and No de Gosto are Michelin standard at normal prices.

Ao chegarmos nos deparamos com um lindo jardim e uma recepção maravilhosa pelo proprietário Miguel. Os detalhes estão em todos os lugares, como chocolate nos potes…água com belo guardanapo, roupas de cama e toalhas deliciosas. Além do café servido com belas louças no Lindo jardim com delicias locais. Experiência foi maravilhosa.

L'esemplificazione perfetta del concetto di boitique hotel. Un luogo in cui l'attenzione al cliente è espressa nella sua forma più alta, semplice ed elegante al tempo stesso. 8 camere che affacciano sulla piscina e sul curatissimo giardino che offre zone relax più discrete e in cui potersi rilassare su amache o letti tenda sotto l'ombra alberi. Miguel, il proprietario, attento e premuroso è un ospite sempre presente ma discreto che offre utili e preziosi consigli su escursioni, ristoranti e attività, senza l'inganno tipico che viene spesso rivolto al turista. I ristoranti sono quelli che frequenta lui e idem per le attività. Le camere sono arredate con una sobria eleganza e piene di piccole, ma apprezzatissime attenzioni. Un posto davvero speciale.

Anche se siete gia' stati in boutique hotel di lusso, questa quinta vi lascera' senza fiato. A pochi minuti in auto da Tavira, in mezzo alla campagna, la Quinta da Lua e' piccolo angolo di paradiso. Un giardino lussureggiante incornicia una bella piscina. Tutto e' arredato con molto gusto. Camera spaziosa e confortevole, solo il bagno era un po' piccola. La colazione servita in giardino e' superlativa per varieta' e qualita' delle materie prime. Un ringraziamento di cuore a Miguel e al suo staff.
