We had a problem with the traveling and got lost with the GPS and so we were arriving late (midnight). They did not make us check in and we had to stay and pay an extra night somewhere else. I called and even said I was with 2 children 6 years old, and we were driving for 6 hours because we got lost and had to turn back. The woman laughed and said "Yes, I feel sorry for you"... I feel sorry for you?! While laughing? What is this? We asked her to leave the keys hidden, and make a video of where they were and how to get in and send by whatsapp... the answer was NO. We just could not check-in. During the stay we were asking for the refund of that night, as we wanted to check-in but they didn't let us! And we had to stay somewhere else and pay extra! The woman had plenty of excuses. Apparently she could not speak with the owner... on the check-out day, 10:03, we got back from breakfast, and they were already inside the house (the woman and the owner - the one she could not speak to....) yelling and throwing us out! Because the kids took some lamps from the drawers and left them on the kitchen counter - well if this is an apartment suitable for kids maybe you shouldn't let those things unlocked in the house!!!! Or maybe you should not allow kids... just saying! Check out was at 10:00, I don't know what time they got inside the house, but they couldn't stay one hour more waiting for us to check-in, but were ready to kick us out on check-out. So, if you are visiting Bari and Puglia by car like we were, do not book this apartment. Because if you have any problem, an accident, a problem with the car, and need some flexibility... they won't help. They won't do the check-in, refund, or help in any way... if you leave the apartment and leave the keys inside AND your baby kids are inside as well... well you know the answer right? "Yes, I feel sorry you"
