Wariyam Heritage

Located very close to the Vadakkunathar temple this is a nice place that is more like bed and breakfast. Looks like a bang low from outside. Well maintained and clean. Rooms are reasonable spacious and clean. Bathrooms are clean and hot water facility is good. Beds are convenient and AC is effective. You get basic BF with idli vada fruit coffee. No lunch or dinner. But you have plenty of options in walking distance. The owner is a gentle*** and is very polite and clear. Caretaker MR Gopalakrishnan is very simple and helpful. Treats you like a member of his family. This is a very simple place where you get your stay peacefully. Check in and check out are a breeze. They send your bill to your mail id. Suitable for those coming on business trip or those come to see temples. The common area though limited is good to sit. Lot of mosquitos in common area in hut evenings. Rooms are however free from pests. Appears to booked always. Hence advance booking would help, especially during season time.

Centrally located,. spacious, clean and decent homestay close to the famous Swaraj Circle of Thrissur which is at 5 minutes walk from the famous Vadakka nadhan temple. Thrissur railway station is at around 2 km. No restaurant attached to this property but coffee and breakfast are served. Both caretaker and owner offer excellent hospitality and make the stay memorable. Lot of good hotels including pure vegetarian ones available at the diametrically opposite position of the circle besides food delivery options. Recommended.

I had an overnight stay in Wariyam Heritage in Jan-22. Booking over the phone was easy. Check-in smooth and courteous. The room and bath were clean and spacious. The room was well kept and cosy. For the price tag and for the location, this is a hidden gem. Even the property looked great. Sure to return if looking for a place to stay in Trichur.
