This hotel is everything you need whilst staying in Tignes, the rooms are spacious, views are magnificent and spacious area is great. The ski in ski out feature is great and makes life a lot easier. The only downside is the hotels proximity to bars and restaurants- we were lucky we had a car and the free shuttle bus to Le Lac is handy- however if you didn’t have a car you would find it hard to visit neighbouring towns.

I arrived today excited to start our holiday. After a long delayed journey we got here and was very surprised it was 4 star. The communal area was very unclean as you walked in and staff not helpful. The room was clean but stank of disinfectant it made us feel sick. The beds are something else , my bed at university 20 years ago was better. So low to the ground and very low rent. The sheets are also extremely worn, dirty and hair in the bed. My children wouldn’t sleep without covering them with towels. It’s going to be a long week and we would never stay here again!

This hotel is very noisy and very far away from the main resort in tignes. If you want to do any kind of apres i wouldnt recommend staying here as you the buses are only ever 2 hours later on in the evening, we ended up waiting a very long time in the freezing cold and snow waiting for a bus to get home as there were no taxi's. The rooms come with absolutely no extras no washing up liquids sponges or even toilet roll. There is no boot room for skis and boots so room gets very wet and damp. Rooms were very clean however and the spa was a nice addition but you do have to pay if you go after 4pm which i wasnt expecting.

Best apartments I've been to in France. Very clean and spacious. Apres ski snacks and an excellent restaurant on site. virtually ski in/out. Regular buses to Le Lac and beyond. Ski hire on site. Entertainment for the kids and free kids' clubs. Staff are super friendly, especially in the restaurant, and most speak adequate English. Lots of free board games to borrow at reception. Altogether a very good place to stay, even though it is a little bit out on a limb.

Great location right on the slopes and straight onto the gondola. Very spacious apartment with a well appointed kitchen and huge balcony. So nice to have the beds made before we arrived. Staff were very helpful. I would encourage booking parking before you arrive as there isn’t much non car park car parking available.

We had a fantastic time here. The apartment was modern and well-equipped, and we could ski in and ski out (end of Jan). The staff was friendly and helpful as well. If you're looking for a full spa service note that this one has to be pre-booked and is only free after 16:00. Works fine if you know, could otherwise be a suprise. We had some issues with the temperature in the room varying quite wildly during the night, but nother than that no issues.

The Residence Club MMV L'Altaviva is a great hotel and location is just right for door to door skiing. The facilities were also good. Staff were 5* and always happy to help. Would definitely be returning and reccomending to friends and family!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at MMV from the very helpful and friendly staff, the high standard of accommodation, fittings and equipment (both the apartment and ski lockers) to the excellent location. We had not realised the accommodation was “ski-in, ski-out” which was a nice surprise. Thanks to another review, we brought extra bin bags and toilet roles, which came in useful. Overall, highly rate our stay here.

Great location. Ski in and out, can ski across to le lac and other areas with relative ease. The local supermarket was close by. Staff were friendly and the apartment was a generous size. I would stay again.
