The property was well situated and had lovely views over Caroline Bay. The unit needs to be refurbished including carpet replacement. The owner was friendly and helpful.

A very nice place indeed. Great location with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Friendly and professional crew. We loved it!

Right on the bay. Beautiful room on 4th floor. Needed to carry bags up flight of stairs. Very nice inside. Could not figure out how to work TV. No instructions. The carnival was going on at the time so was very festive, but quiet a night. Enjoyed our stay here.

August 2023 - Two night stay. This place has seen better days. First place on NZ months long road trip where attention to detail evidently not applicable. Burnt out lights, mismatched dishes, very worn overall appearance. Maybe good for one night stopover but anything longer you really start to notice the flaws. Felt like we needed to wash every dish and surface for self catering dining. On the plus side the location is perfect for exploring Timura and our room had a grand view of the park and ocean. Definitely on the budget side of lodgings, not comfortable with a recommendation, IMHO..

not very soundproof units/(could hear neighbouring units flushing toilets.)
be aware the property requests you use a credit card to pay and then charge additional fees for using a credit card. be aware prices quoted on ******* are not in local NZD they are in USD but they don't disclose that until you go to pay

We loved out 2 day stay. We had a top floor room with a balcony and view of the bay. The room had a separate bedroom which was great. All very clean and lovely helpful lady on reception. Well will definitely stay again. And it is so handy to everything Timaru has to offer. Highly recommend.
