Pleasant stay and budget friendly. It's in a prime location, everything can be easily accessed, rooms are clean, spacious and pocket friendly as well, the staffs are also ready to help you in need, for both families and solo traveller's, grand stay should be your go to place in tiruchirappalli.

The hotel is good only for solo visitors on religious or official trips. The rooms are small. Only a small soap is given as toiletries. You will have to ask for a bathing towel as well . They do not have any restaurant. However they have kept menu cards of two restaurants from where you can order or through Swiggy Zomato. You don’t get Wi-Fi inside the rooms. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Chatiram bus stand from where you can get buses to all the temples. The auto guys will fleece you. A number of restaurants are close to the bus stand where you can have food. Shri Sangeetas is a very good restaurant at walking distance and so is the Rock Fort temple.

The unhelpful staff is often downright rude and much of the information on their website bookings is false: you cannot pay with a credit card, there is no view or even any natural light whatsoever in the dungeon-like room, no hot water in the kind of dirty shower. You are only given a towel the size of a hand towel. The wifi only works occasionally and you can't rely on cell service, which does not reach the rooms. Cockroaches on the floor. Everything has a certain "ick" factor. When I asked for a room with a city view as advertised, I was told to go sit on the roof...which was locked shut with a padlock! Not sure whether to laugh or cry. Worst hotel I've stayed at in this range in India, but definitely not the lowest price. Staff are basically teenagers who are completely clueless as to how to treat a hotel guest. So ***y options in Trichy, so go anywhere else

We had booked directly at this hotel. This hotel in located near Chathram bus stand but in a narrow lane behind a popular jewellery show room - no parking whatsoever. People with cars (or even two wheelers) - give this hotel a miss. Even at the time of booking they made it clear that wifi would not be good. On arrival, the person at the front desk was busy on the phone and asked us to wait. Took a few minutes to check in. Handed us an AC remote and that was it. No person to help with luggage, no one to show how the controls in the room work etc. We had alerted them an hour before the arrival as it was a long trip and we were very tired. The room was not at all ready. No towels, no toiletries, no phone to call the front desk. You have to go in person for each and everything. He is always busy on the phone and makes you wait. He gave one towel grudgingly, though he knew we are two. Arrogant, uncaring attitude of the front desk guy spoiled our mood. Towels were worn and not in good shape - we decided to use our own. The room and bathroom looked clean, but there were cobwebs on the bathroom ventilator. The inside of the toilet bowl was filthy. Posting a picture here would be repulsive. There is only one plug point in the room for all your charging needs! If you need to switch on/off the lights, you have to get up from the bed - no controls on the headboard of the bed. Decent LED TV with a set top box and decent selection of channels. AC controls were not intuitive and takes some figuring out. Once done, the AC worked well and provided much needed relief from Trichy's sweltering heat. Bed was medium comfortable, pillows were lousy. What could have been a value for money hotel with good fittings etc is spoiled by poor service, poor design, cleanliness/maintenance and very poor guest relations. Avoid this place.
