The hotel is beautiful and has a picturesque view. It is walkable for downtown Victoria. We parked the car in the underground parkade and left it there until it was time to check out (even though there are in & out privileges). The staff member that checked us in was spacey and not invested in her job. The one that checked us out was simply brusque at best. The room was clean and the view was amazing. I would recommend.

Overall we liked it.. smelled like bleach in our room.
Overall quite nice. Bathtub needed to be regrouted and the shower nook scrubbed.
The check was quick. Other areas were clean.

We had a suite overlooking the harbor and the legislative building. There was also a balcony. The space was quite spacious with two separate sink areas, a living room and a bedroom. While I don't normally book rooms like this, it was reasonable enough that i chose this option. It made the stay of 4 days very pleasant.
However, the pool was closed and that was one of the reasons I booked this. I got notice a few days in advance about that but i didn't want to look elsewhere at that point.

Upon arrival they tried to give me a king bed instead of the 2 queen I paid for. After I booked I called them to confirm 2 Queen beds. Also tried to buy a bottled water and my daughter was treated rude about it. She went to front desk to ask about it and they sent her to fitness center stating there are no vending machines. Get there and guy is using phone and told her they were closed. Had promised to send some to room and did. Toilet paper very scratchy on the tush. Food in restaurant superb

Has a great vacation in Victoria at the Hotel Grand Pacific. Room was perfect for our little family! Everything was very clean and enjoyable!

What a hidden gem. Outstanding room, absolutely nicest staff, I got in later than I'd wanted and am sad not to be spending more than one night here. Will be telling friends and family to stay here from now on as outstanding room with kitchenette, giant bathroom/soaker tub and seperate shower, balcony with parliament buildings view - so happy I found this place!

The location of this hotel is incredible.
However, the beds were pretty hard, water pressure was terrible, and the amenities are out dated.
I would’ve probably been better off at the Best Western next door.

Excellent accessible room. The mirror is even tilted for those who use wheelchairs a A ND you can get on the balcony. Awesome
