Lovely settings everything in good order staff very friendly nice for a short break, Only thing I thought that the food a bit over priced for what it was.

Stay was good building is old and few things in room were needing maintenance.
But its a good location and apart from the low ceiling it was fab

Have stayed here before. Location is lovely by the river. Has everything you need for a short stay. Always clean. Staff friendly & helpful.

Foid great service great surroundings fantastic stayed in02 toilet seat needs fixing and couldo with flannels, tv is impossible to understand !!

It's a very friendly hotel. The room was clean & cozy. The restaurant also very good and I didn't need to find a place to eat. Excellent for a night or two and explore the nearby area.

Not the cleanest place I’ve ever been! The water glass had lipstick marks on them, a a used tissue in the floor from previous guests! Requested room to be cleaned, they just spread the bed with no care at all! Floor carpet was not hovered when I went in and the next day was still the same! Stayed for 2 nights and I said to myself never again!

We enjoyed the food and the staff very good the room was another thing. The bed was excellent and comfortable. the room was nothing like you ******* sold us. the toilet seat was broken the curtains etc were very tired wood work black and rotten. Saying the above we did enjoy our stay mainly because of the a**osphere and the staff being great and attentive,

Unique setting next to River Exe.
Just looking a bit tired- perhaps a little brightening up would put icing on the cake! But please do not lose the character by modernising it!!
