This is a beautiful inn, located a few miles from town in a gorgeous setting. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, giving great advice on where to go. He has a terrific staff and serves excellent food and wine. The triple room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a lovely refreshing pool and beautiful grounds you can walk around - also a boules court. The Tafroute area is gorgeous! Breakfast was served on the outside terrace and dinner in the dining room. Wifi was excellent downstairs, a bit slower upstairs. There are three adorable cats, but don’t worry if you are allergic like me - I had zero issues. We loved our stay here and would gladly stay again.

We come to El Manara for 7 years now and each time with the same pleasure. Your hare each time personally welcomed by Jean and his wife. There is so much to do and visit in the area ! the hotel is really of superior quality with very large and agreable rooms. Superbly decorated. the restaurant is also exceptional. Certainly the place to stop for one or two nights.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr nettem Patron und herzliches Personal. Viele Parkplätze auf dem Gelände vorhanden. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind von grosszügiger Grösse, sauber, hell und bequem eingerichtet. Eine tolle Poollandschaft und ein sehr schöner Garten. Das Bett war bequem und im Badzimmer war alles vorhanden, was es braucht. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und konnte draussen auf der Terrasse mit herrlicher Aussicht eingenommen werden. Eine sehr schöne Überraschung: unser sehr dreckiges Auto war bei der Abreise blitzblank geputzt. Einzigen Minuspunkt: bescheidenes Wifi

Das El Malara in der Tafraoute ist nicht nur eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir in Marokko gefunden haben. Bernadette und Jean sind auch wunderbare Gastgeber. Und die Küche - marokkanisch französisch Crossover- ist einfach ausgezeichnet!

On a adoré notre séjour à El Malara, lieu vraiment merveilleux, accueil de Jean le propriétaire très sympa, les chambres sont magnifiques, les repas sont digne d'un restaurant gastronomique. Nous y retournerons pour un séjour plus long, ça c'est certain. 😍 Élisabeth et Fred

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans ce tres bel hôtel où nous nous sommes senti comme des hôtes privilégiés. Jean et son équipe ont été aux petits soins. La chambre tres spacieuse, tres lumineuse avec une vue à couper le souffle ! Les petits déjeuners et les dîners concoctés par Ahmed et servis par Leila etaient de grandes qualites, ils nous ont régalés. Encore Merci !

Grand confort. Jean a été parfait du début à la fin. Ce n'est pas l'étape la plus authentique de notre séjour mais sûrement la plus luxueuse. Petit déjeuner parfait. Les repas du soir sont très bons mais c'est une question de goût, la petite touche occidentale censée apporter du raffinement est au détriment de la saveur originale de certains plats (notamment les tajines).

Excellent séjour ! Conception du riad, accueil, gestion par Jean (Bernadette était en France), ambiance, chambres : tout est à la hauteur. Une mention toute spéciale pour la cuisine, le cuisinier et Leila au service.

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel C’est totalement agréable de trouver un lieu magique après une journée en voiture dans ces magnifiques paysages Quel bonheur d’être accueilli comme si nous venions depuis des années. La chambre est grande. Il ne manque rien. Et la vue sur les montagnes éclairées par un soleil couchant va vous plaire. Le repas est simplement fidèle à de nombreux commentaires. Nous nous sommes régalés et les explications culinaires apportent un plus non négligeable. Aujourd’hui nous n’avons pas trouvé d’équivalent dans nos périple au Sud Maroc. Merci à Jean et l’ensemble du personnel Ne changez rien
