Sotetsu Fresa Inn Ochanomizu Jimbocho

Cheaper compared to other hotels in Tokyo. The room is super tiny. Struggled to open my large luggage properly. But I only slept in the room. Was out during day. The location is great and so many free amenities like mask, bath powder, moisturiser etc

I really enjoyed living in this hotel. For its price, this is a very good hotel. The service is very good, all the staff are polite and responsive. The rooms are clean and cleaned regularly. There is everything you need: Wi-Fi, toiletries, a kettle and everything you need for a tea party. Breakfast is modest, but it's enough to have a snack.

Breakfast is 2 choices of your own bread + unlimited toast + salad box + coffee/tea/water. the salad box is fixed (broccoli and baby scallop), is a bit dull if you stay here for a long period. Hotel provide various spa salt and facial mask, lotion, and moisturizer. It is very useful. hair slyer is also free to rental. It is a very female friendly place.

Very difficult to find cheaper hotel in Japan and we took this comparatively cheaper one with bigger room and twin beds. The location is less convenient, away from busy streets. But then there are still a number of restaurants and shops. Quite quiet. The WiFi is good. The staff is super nice - as they all do in Japan.

The sevice is excellent. There are alsway washing machine and daily gadget at the lobby. Well cleaned toilet!

I booked A standard double room, it is small but good for a solo traveller. Great location accessible to many cities and attractions in Tokyo. If you have heavy luggage use exit A8/A9 with escalator -4mins walk to hotel. A7 exit is nearest to the hotel but no escalator or elevator -2 mins walk to hotel, you need to use stairs with yr heavy luggage. Hotel is sort of hidden in a lane if you did not pay attention you will miss it easily. Staff are friendly and helpful. For the price of breakfast you paid , please do not have high expectation. The assortment of bread 🥖 🥯 🍞is good enough with a free box of 🥗 and free flow of coffee ☕️ n 🫖. I explored a lot of attractions, eg hike mt Takao, shop in Asakusa , togoshi Ginza, visited Kita a tranquil shrine in yoyogi Koen within tokyo. the woman at the front desk who speaks spanish— wonderful and kind. so, too, are the cleaning staff personnel. the folks at the front desk suffering ocd obsession with setting up particular times for room cleaning.. uh…, less so; in fact, quite unnecessarily aggressive in that regard, unfortunately. the toiletries amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, shower cap, razors, and even a selection of tea bags (albeit without any herbal tea choices) are available gratis in the lobby area. the rooms are exceptionally small, but clean. the rooms also come with a television and a small refrigerator. the bed was small, but i had a single room, so was sufficient. my pillow was rather lumpy and leaked feathers, but in the plus side, it was obviously a true down pillow.
