Hello there,
I write this email because I had a very bad experience on my first night at the hotel. I have booked two rooms from February 1st to February 4th. Room numbers are 603 and 604. I want to complain about the front desk clerk who was on duty late at night of February 1.
On the night of February 1(about 11:30 pm.), I called the front desk to ask if there was a quilt because my family caught a cold and felt cold. The front desk clerk said no, only blankets, and I accepted the blankets. However, the waitress who wearing glasses(don’t her name) had a real bad attitude when she delivered blankets to the door. My dad opened the door because he could not communicate in foreign languages, so this waitress waited at the door for 20 seconds. During the 20 seconds, my dad talked to me and asked me to talk to the waitress. Because the blankets given to me did not look new, my family wanted to a quilt cover on blankets . When I talked with her, she did not understand what I meant. I have translated it into English with my mobile phone, but she did not understand. At the end of the gesture, she understood the meaning but rolled her eyes at me, clearly impatient, I felt really uncomfortable. Finally, she went to get the duvet cover and gave it to me directly and just let us to put it by ourselves, which was the first time I had ever encountered this kind of service in a high-end hotel.
In Japan, a country that is praised by all for its excellent service, customers need to put on their own duvet covers. This is the first time in all my years of staying in hotels. It is really disappointing. I am also very disappointed with the service of your hotel. For this waiteress, I need her apologizes for her attitude, her behavior made us feel bad all night.
As a service industry, serving customers should at least respect customers, have patience and a good attitude then the hotel will be better and better.
