Oasis Backpackers' Toledo

Oasis Backpacker has a very good location, is in the center of the historical quarter. Goya House, and the sepharding museum are just a few minutes walks from here. You can find this hostel in a narrow and quiet street so it is a perfect place for a good sleep. The room has a toilet and shower, the bed is comfortable, and the internet going well. The roof top kitchen has an amaizing view, you can see from there the Alcazar caste and the full old town. I love it! I want to come back one day!

WORST HOSTEL EVER, THERES A TECHNO MUSIC DISCO INFRONT UNTIL 6:30 AM!!! You have drunk people screaming and smashing glass, fighting even outside your windows, you will never sleep here. It’s actually insane, music level is 100% ilegal, real bad experience.

What a nice Hostel! I have been travelling through Spain alone for a while and found this beautiful spot. Just amazing. It was super easy making friends and enjoying the Sun on the beautiful terrace on the top of the hostel. The view from the top was way more then I expected. The kitchen was super sweet and the rooms were really nice and clean and had the bathroom to share with just the room-members. All in all I really liked the experience there and will definitely come back!

So I'd stayed in Oasis hostels before, some years ago. And as I'd always had a good experience, this was an obvious choice. The location right in the old city is great. Taxi dropped me a little way away, though people did drive in that street. Alina on reception was super friendly and welcoming. And that is a key part of having a good experience imo. My private room was pleasant and nicely furnished. Decent bathroom. Actually I just thought of a negative. The wall was very thin and not at all soundproof (as everywhere I stayed in Spain, almost.) Earplugs are king, my friends. The roof terrace has spectacular views. There's also a kitchen. Free tea and coffee, I gather. As mentioned, the location is good. Close to everything that might interest you. If you like Mexican food, you MUST visit Piensa en mi. Ay dios mio, those tacos... Possibly the best I've had outside of Mexico. So if you want accommodation with the possibility of social interaction with other guests, this is the spot. Lives up to standard of the Oasis brand.

Habitaciones malísimas,con mal olor,ropas de cama con manchas amarillas,cucarachas a sus anchas, baños sucios y camas duras como piedras. Y ya si hablamos del desayuno pésimo. Para no repetir jamás. Lo único bueno la ubicación. Por lo demás nada recomendable.

No lo recomendaría a nadie!!! Reservé para ir con mi familia ( mi marido y mis dos hijos) en el puente de Semana Santa. Sabíamos de antemano que íbamos a un hostal, a una habitación con dos literas, queríamos un sitio donde dormir y ducharnos. Pues bien, la habitación era muy pequeña, prácticamente con solo espacio para colocar las maletas y poco más. El baño estaba sucio (papeles en el suelo, pelos en el lavado y bañera) y olía a perros muertos. Nos quejamos en la recepción y amablemente una empleada subió para comprobarlo y procedió a limpiar el baño. Le pedimos ropa nueva de cama que nos proporcionaron y nuestra sorpresa fue que una de las mantas "limpias" tenía una maraña de pelos y estaba manchada; y una de las sábanas también estaba manchada y tenía pelos. Ya para colmo de males al retirar una de las literas, para hacer la cama , comprobamos cómo no las retiran para limpiar, había pelusas enormes y una cucaracha muerta ( tengo fotos ). Ya era muy tarde y no teníamos otra opción que quedarnos a dormir. Por cierto, los colchones incomodísimos y camas muy ruidosas al mínimo movimiento. Al día siguiente nos volvimos a quejar y solicitamos el reembolso de los días que nos quedaban. La forma de compensarnos fue invitarnos al desayuno ese día. Nos ofrecieron la opción de hacer limpieza a fondo de la habitación pero ya no estábamos a gusto. Hicimos efectivo el reembolso y nos fuimos. Imaginad lo que supuso buscar nuevo alojamiento en Toledo en pleno puente de Semana Santa!!! No volveremos nunca ni lo recomendaremos, este hospedaje nos pareció insalubre!! Espero que nuestra experiencia os sirva de ayuda a la hora de elegir alojamiento en Toledo.
