The staffing crew were nice and friendly. Upon checking in to my room, the front desk called my room to make sure all was well. They were ready and willing to help.
The negative aspect of the hotel relates to cleanliness. My bedding blanket is not supposed to have odor but mine did have some. The love seat and the room floor were not very clean.
Notwithstanding the hotel's shortfalls, I was very satisfied and would book the hotel again if I have to.

My go-to overnight stay in Topeka. Everything in order and the price is certainly right. Oh, and it's so close to the Blind Tiger! Left before breakfast so I can't review that!

The hotel is older. It’s a basic room. However. The place is incredibly clean! The staff were all very polite and we would stay again. It was quiet and a place to sleep after a 12 hour drive. The breakfast was decent. If you are looking for reasonable clean friendly accommodations this is the place!!

Here is what was unique.. I booked a two bed Queen room. There was no two bed Queen room available. They wanted to give me a one bed king room. That was not to mistake of the hotel. That was your mistake. Oh great, in mighty website. And they're really interesting. Part is that I bought another room from another website. And that was not available either.

The cost was perfect for our purpose. One main plus was extra space for parking our pickup/trailer

If your choice comes down to checking in here or sleeping in your car. I would sleep in the car. The mattresses here are flat, lumpy and hard. If you can’t sleep what’s the point of even getting a room? Don’t count on sleeping late on weekends there either. The maids start rattling the paper thin walls at 8:00 am.

The view from my window was of the largest automobile junk yard that I have ever seen. This was a $60 room for twice. This hotel is in serious need of of updating the price.

I wasn't there. Tried to cancel. I cancelled shortly after booking it, and before the deadline, but couldn't get my money back.

When I went to check in I was told their policy was not to allow anyone who lives in Shawnee County! I asked to see this in writing, which the attendant could not produce. There was no mention of it on their website or posted in the lobby!
