Charming place and well maintained . Best place to stay in Le Mans area . This castle is the most quiet place for a good night sleep with good quality bedding and nice breakfast . We stayed 3 nights with two kids, our flight arrived in Paris very early so we needed an early check in , which they nicely accepted for a very reasonable fee . I had made a mistake and reserved 2 nights instead of 3 they also were so kind and thankfully the hotel was not full so we added a night . The room was very large and comfortable with a view over the garden and castle. Mini fridge with complementary sparkling and still water. Large bed with high quality bedding. Beautiful bathroom with bath and I was impressed by the choice of products, all natural and organic which I really appreciate. Breakfast was high quality with fresh squeezed orange juice, n espresso coffee, great croissants etc.. best brand of jam, Mariage Frere teas , pancakes, fruit salad etc etc all served under a lovely veranda on a table with porcelain and silverware . I cannot forget to mention the great service, very nice staff We didn’t get to use the pool but it looked pretty with grass and lounge chairs We highly recommend this place and will stay there again

Beautiful country chateau, charming spot which felt like a escape from everything! The atmosphere is relaxed and the decor in the rooms is really charming. The staff were really helpful and welcoming! A highlight was getting a tour of the beautiful chateau by the owner who was so passionate about their project! Would really recommend! It is a lovely family business and we really enjoyed our stay. The only down side is there is no restaurant on the site. They do however do lovely meat and fish platters! Unfortunately we only stayed one night in this wonderful, wonderful place. We had three rooms in total for our group and each and everyone of them was gorgeous and very, very comfortable (air conditioning! In France! In the extreme summer heat of these weeks (36 C). Pool lovely, with enough sun beds, breakfast wonderful and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful surroundings and a short drive away of Le Mans (which is apart from the 24h museum and the Plantagenet area relatively underwhelming). In a nutshell: go!

Beautiful serene location, wonderful, helpful staff, delicious breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and Mariage Freres teas, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. We were sorry we spent only one night there. The chateau itself, though, is open only on certain days and at certain times.

A picturesque hideaway in lovely French countryside with a most attentive host and staff. The rooms, fabrics, decoration and overall settings have been selected with the greatest care and stylistic confidence. A heated outdoor pool and a great estate make any stopover a complete and enjoyable. The breakfast is of great and tasteful quality.

Une très belle bâtisse au milieu de la nature au bout d une allée vous accueille dans un grand parc. Ce fut un véritable plaisir de découvrir cette belle région du Mans connue pour son circuit des 24 heures du Mans et ses rillettes. Un château réservant une partie à des chambres classées 4 étoiles. Je ferais quelques remarques sur la décoration. Dans notre chambre un mélange de genres à la fois classique et moderne mais un tapis déchiré sur toute sa longueur. Dans la salle de bains un manque de place pour ranger ses affaires et un carrelage un peu trop brillant donc glissant. Je sais que les goûts et couleurs sont dans la nature mais parfois un manque d homogénéité. Cela reste tout à fait personnel. Le petit déjeuner dans la véranda est tout à fait sympathique et très bien garni avec un assortiment varié et généreux. Une remarque le jour de notre réception avec une jeune fille peut être pas tout à fait à sa place. Il est vrai que l accueil est un métier exigeant. Une piscine chauffée vous permet de vous délasser. Nous n avons pas fait la visite du château mais une prochaine fois peut être. Une approche des clients à étudier il me semble pour donner une touche plus accueillante et humaine. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour entre villages, abbayes cistercienne et cité médiévale.
