Staycation turned to nightmare! Started at check-in, The front desk agent is should not only no how the facts about the property and no the logistics of their job, more importantantly the should have impeccable customer service skills or at the least be engaging, polite and smile. The female that checked me in was none of those things, As I am standing at the counter she called someone and asked if a specific room was clean. I am only assuming that the person on the other end replied, "yes" because that is the room I was checked into. When we walked into the room, the first thing I noticed is the large sliding glass doors have no window covering. As begin putting my things down, the freezerwas dirty, the top of the refrigertor, looked as if had not been wiped off in months, there tracks of both sliding glass doors were black with dirt (not sand dirt), the shower tiles along the bottom were covered with mold. I live in Florida and due to the humidity mold grows quickly, but this was not one day of mold and these are cleaning products that can be used in Florida so that mold does not grow in the bathroom. I found pillows stuffed behind a chair in the bedroom, there were only 2 pillows on a King size bed. I found a large bug in a window sill. The floor had not been swept or mopped anytime recently. I have attached a picture of the amount of lent that I removed from the dryer. Most everything I have mentioned was a cleanliness issue and unsightly, the result of being lazy and careless could of started a fire. You will also see a photo where the transition stip between the bedroom and bathroom just laying on the floor, now the guests and the property owners could have a serious safety issue. My husband imeditaly went to the office to complain a diiferent front desk agent was on duty and she said the she did not speak english, (in english) and was unable to help us. I went to the foffice before check out this very front desk agent person was not accomidating at all. I was told I had to reach out to the sister property, she would make a note. I watched her write 2 sentences. When I called the sister property there was not a manager on duty and the GM was not their either. This use to be a nice property, and the people were great. I am not sure what has happened but, I feel like i was robbed of my hard earned money, their is an expectaion standard when someone spends money especially when it is with the hospitality industry.

We stayed a week and absolutely loved it. Staff was friendly and room was cozy. We stayed in 503 and the view was amazing. We asked for a ocean view and that's what we got. Hope to return again in the future. Thanks for a great experience for a family

The front desk staff (Elderly lady) could not smile if her life depended on it. Room not cleaned well. Cigarette butts trash on balcony, glass coffee table dirty. Icemaker off no ice ready. Remotes for TV not working one was broken and no batteries. We stayed 1 night and I was ready to go home! The walls very thin. The room above us had a party that lasted until 4 AM. We heard chairs scraping all night. The tv in the room next to us was blaring until 3 AM. You sleep when your neighbors say you sleep. We woke up to chips on most of the rooms balconies we could see, and all over pool deck from upstairs party. I went to front desk to complain, she told us we could have called security but there is nobody at front desk after 9 PM and no guest service book in room. The window coverings did not block lights at night was too bright to sleep. We checked out at 10 AM ( which after 3 hours sleep I would have enjoyed a 11 AM checkout like most hotels give you) They charged us another day of resort fees on day of checkout WHY?? I was born and raised in Treasure Island and have stayed in many places there that are far better. We have stayed at Cheri Lynn next door many times it is a much better experience and value.

Highly recommend. Great stay helpful staff. As for the complaints on parking, as long as your parking pass is on the dash and you’re in the correct spot you won’t have any problems. I would definitely come back. Only thing I didn’t like was the length of the beach from where the resort sits but that’s definitely not there fault.

Bad timing -- construction in the rear and heavy traffic in the front. Our room had not been sufficiently cleaned or fumigated. HOWEVER staff -- especially manager Marcus, was absolutely fabulous -- understanding and willing to release our reservations and make good on the difficulties. Another time and situation this would be a hotel to consider.

Amazing location, awesome hotel staff, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The suites are huge and have a beautiful view. Everything you need is within a mile. The beach is tight across the street with a trail. You can rent bikes right down the street. Johns pass is right over the bridge with all the water activities you can think of. We saw dolphins on the dolphin watch cruise. Just the best location for a vacation period. And the pool and hottub were fabulous

On entering the room,202 we had difficulty opening the door due to a protruding nail which prevented us from doing so and we had to remove it before we could enter the apartment which was dirty, dusty, very tired looking and had a smell. The pots and pans were well past their sell by date, the bed was not as depicted on the website, the sheets were crumpled and worn, we never slept in the bed we slept on top of the sheet. The outside area was filthy, there was 2 very worn out chairs and a sun lounger which had seen better days the small table was so dirty we couldn’t get the ingrained dirt off by wiping it so we covered it with carrier bags in order to use it. The skirting boards had so much dirt and dust on they could not have been cleaned in months. The washing machine had big clumps of congealed fabric and dirt and hair. On approaching the staff in order to voice our concerns we were told we should vacate before 12 o clock or be charged for another night . I expected a clean, relaxing place to spend 5 nights and instead got a dirty, filthy hellhole like nothing I’ve ever experienced in all my years of travelling around Florida. Worse place ever.

As noted previously your car will be towed . We were told we could park in guest spots or one of manager spots We had our car Friday to Saturday in guest spots On Saturday we left the property for a short period upon return we parked in the mgr spot .The weekend manager on duty gave my husband a difficult time and he responded that was where we are told to park . He later moved backed to an open guest spot to relieve the tension of where was the weekend personnel to park They clearly knew us and our car We woke up Sunday to no car We were not offered a second parking pass when I explained to the front desk personnel that my son would be joining us and using the issues pass and wanted to be sure of where we could park Went to the site of where the car was towed which has very sketchy people come out of a house ,not a safe site as well . We had my sons wedding guests occupy the hotel nine years ago -it has significantly declined Furniture ripped and marked up tables . Porch furniture broken -accident waiting to happen . Unfortunately we returned to a terrible experience at a place that held great memories Provident has a lot to do to turn this place around if they want this to reflect their brand

The room was very clean and updated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything you need is within walking distance. Been coming here for 11 years now, always the same friendly welcome.will be returning .
