Treasure Bay Resort & Marina

Our third time here and still the best value in Treasurer Island. Clean, nice free breakfast and a quick check in. Close to great restaurants and the beach across the street. Had a marina view.

I reserved a gulf view which was more expensive than a standard room. When I checked in the front desk said Trip.com booked a standard room and they didn’t have any gulf view rooms left. So they told me to contact Trip.com for refund on room.

This property definitely needs a remodeling/renovation. They were out of some complimentary items. The towels were so rough on the skin. Not worth the money.

Could smell smoke from guests in the hallways. Thought property was non smoking. Very annoying. Overall fair value. Lack of decent breakfast disappointing.

I had booked for 3 days. The room was dimly lit with only one light. The wifi did not connect. The room floors were not the cleanest. This does not look like a 3-star hotel. They were charging upwards of $350. It's not worth the cost. I checked out immediately. They said that they would refund 2 of the 3 nights. I am waiting on the refund to get processed.

Though room towels were changed often, changing bed sheets it was upon request. I needed to ask directly to the cleaning lady to come and change the bed sheets on the 5th day of our staying.

Walking distance to several restaurants, Walgreens. Across the street from public beach. Negative was that heater was broken for pool & whirlpool

This place was amazing, it was clean, and convenient, it’s also adorable considering the grounds and space they have. A very quaint but clean pool and hot tub, clean check in waiting area, rooms are very clean and ocean side rooms are really great to sun on the balcony during the day. Overall for the price you CANNOT beat this place. The parking fee was a bit of a surprise but I booked on ******* so it’s more their fault for not mentioning it. My only is issue was the one girl at the front desk was incredibly incompetent, and the hot tub was a bit cold. I get it, good help is hard to find. The grounds are very clean and cute though and it’s pet friendly! I had room for my dogs crate and I felt very safe leaving her there. I even left the slider open so she could relax and have sun while we went out. Overall from an avid vacationer, 8/10 for price, cleanliness and comfort considering it’s a small resort.

Gulf Blvd is between resort & public beach. I was concerned about traffic noise but didn't notice it. The SCBT stops everywhere easy to get around w/o a car. It takes you from St Petes to Clearwater. You can even transfer to go up to Tarpon Springs. The resort is a little older but not bad. Beds/pillows comfy. Breakfast was just some cold cereals & coffee, no tea. Pool water was on the cool side but sparkling. Was told hot tub very warm but it looked a little green for me. Dunkin Donuts, Waffle House right next door & ice cream shop too! Charged for parking car & you had to have a "towel card" for the beach towels you borrowed. We weren't supposed to have our room cleaned everyday but housekeeping came everyday 1 day they only made 1 bed & didn't sweep the floor, not sure what that was about. There is no access to the rooftop bar ($8/beer) after it closes. Would've been nice to sit there when it finally stopped raining or in the morning. Not much to do if raining-it rained all weekend for us. Trolly takes you to Johns Pass-lots of shopping & food. Sweet Sage Cafe a WONDERFUL breakfast/brunch place. Go early! They are only open til 1 or 2 p.m. But ooohhh so good! Britts pizza is close, very good as well. The beach is very clean. Beach view is so so. The beach is very wide so even w/o the taller hotels across the street, you wouldn't see a whole lot of the water. Overall, I would most likely stay here again. Staff was friendly.
