The Fairy Falls Hotel

This was our favourite stop we booked for a Sunday roast to discover it's now a curry house with zero options for a vegan. We have always come here on our way home after a weekend in Wales as the service was amazing. Left after a drink very disappointed.

Looks like its been recently refurbished. Great a**osphere in bar, locals and staff very friendly. Food was excellent the mixed grill was better than most we get in the midlands. Will visit again if we stay in trefriw in the future. Highly recommend

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Dog friendly and brought our dog his own bowl of water while we were dining. Brilliant choice of menu and food delicious. Breakfast is £10 and needs to be booked on arrival. Comfy bed and good quality linen and towels. Generous sized room and love the chalet style setting. Nice touch of own patio furniture. Right opposite the Falls which are well worth seeing. Childrens play area close by and designated dog field. Only criticism was couldn’t get the shower to work so had to have baths.

Lovely visit to the fairy falls hotel. We got dinner there which was amazing. Ordered 2 steaks and came out just as we liked them perfectly cooked to the types we chose. The chips were delicious as well as the chocolate filled fudge cake with a side of vanilla ice cream. Not one of the dishes of mains or deserts we ordered were bad or undercooked. All the food was perfect. the staff were very friendly as-well and the service was amazing. The presentation of the food aswell was very good. We will defiantly be coming back next time we visit wales

Stopped for food, we are all very particular and weren’t overly hungry however the food was so good we all ate until we were beyond full. Well done to the chef who cooked and served everything to perfection. Staff in the restaurant were also helpful and welcoming, we felt lucky to have stumbled upon it!

Great room! Confortable and clean, with plenty of space for a couple with two kids. Good location to explore the Snowdonia. There's a supermarket less than ten minutes away, a cafe just across de street and the hotel has a restaurant and a sports bar.

We stayed as a one night stopover on our way to Por**irion room was dark & noisy very basic , good parking. the on site restaurant was excellent food & good service lamb steaks & minted Lanb burger cooked to perfection & lovely flavour.

Very pleased that we chose this hotel for an overnight stay with our dog whilst exploring the Conwy/Betws y coed area not only for it’s great central location but also such excellent value for money.Rooms are in a two storey annexe building situated in a good sized car park adjacent to the Inn.Our room no 4 was ground level with it’s own bistro set outside.The main room was very spacious with a chair as well as a huge double bed which we found comfortable and nicely presented.Tea,coffee and biscuits supplied.Freeview TV with great picture.Bathroom was also a good size with an overhead shower over the bath which worked well.No doggy smell in room and my wife did not have any allergic reactions to pet hair which is a good sign of cleanliness.You will need to bring your own dog feeding and water bowls.Only negative was room is a little dark without putting lights on all the time.Restaurant which you book on arrival for dinner and breakfast allows dogs.The home cooked Thai chicken curry and cheesecake were superb.Recommend the local Purple Moose ale very smooth and inexpensive.Choice of hot breakfasts and a drink for £10 each but no cereals or fruit included.We had a nicely cooked full English with good quality bacon and sausage amongst the usual works but this was a bit let down by a singular piece of thin sliced toast.Staff we met were great all helpful and friendly.Finally there is a dog designated field and an hour long river cob walk circular route next to hotel for easy convenient exercise of your dog especially if you’ve had a drink and can’t drive the car.

This was a lovely find, it’s a great hotel, and the rooms are very spacious and clean, there’s a sports bar with 2 pool tables and large TVs all around, the beer was spot on, and doom bar was an amazing price of £3:50 a pint 😳 which truly is fantastic in my opinion, if you don’t want the sports bar a**osphere , there’s a lovely bar in the main body of the hotel which is adjoining to the main restaurant, the bar snacks were fantastic and well priced. My advice would be to have the “pork belly bites” which are large and plentiful, scampi was gorgeous, and homemade chips, were huge and fluffy, onion rings were huge, light and crispy, Very good value for money all in all. . However, there’s one thing that I still can’t get my head round, and that’s breakfast. My wife don’t eat breakfast. She just wanted a bit of toast, the bloke told us that if we want brekky we could use the cafe over the road or the hotel, so we went to go to the cafe over the road but it had a sign on the window saying “private function”. So we went back to the hotel. We sat down and asked us if we’d booked, but we hadn’t. But she said no problem as not that busy, I’ll go find the chef. After a short look at the menu, we ordered. We had 1 coffee, 1 tea, 2 toast, (2 slices cut triangular) and a bacon and cheese omelette. The omelette was great but the price wasn’t. That came too £17. Which I thought must of been a mistake. But it don’t look like it was. All in all a superb hotel, and great value for money….. but don’t have a breakfast in the hotel, it’s the opposite of the rest of the hotel for value…extortionate is the word. But everything else was A1. Top notch. And great value!.
