Stayed here for the last two nights of our safari. We stayed in an upgraded room of a tent, was great , would say that the watering holes were not by the bars or rooms , unfortunately there was nowhere to sit and just observe the animals, ( could take a lesson from salt lick and Kilguna) don't get me wrong we had a great time but other lodges have it so you can sit and enjoy a drink and just observe.

Stayed here for 2 nights & really enjoyed our time at this lodge. Room was clean, good size & decent shower. Our balcony overlooked a section of the watering hole & we woke both mornings to elephants walking towards the water! Lovely pool, good choice of food & lovely staff, so friendly. Loads of wildlife around, birds, lizards, monkeys, all around! Just incredible! Loved the on site shop too, got some beautiful jewellery.

We were disappointed here as the holiday was advertised to make you believe you were staying in a tented lodge but this was not the case so was upset that we were put in a standard room. It was clean and adequate but. It what we thought we had paid for. Food was nice and good choice. The staff friendly and helpful. No watering hole that was lit up or used much. Lots of lizards and monkeys. Had to buy drinks including water. Had a small pool and we were here for 2 nights. Hoping to see a cheetah or leopard but instead saw 2 rhino’s which was amazing and only less than 1% of seeing them. Truly blessed

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a a 3 lodge/5 night safari. Whilst not my favourite of the three lodges it was still outstanding. We had our favourite game drives from here. The lodge was excellent, the food was very good and the rooms very nice. We had a slight issue with some uninvited guests in our room one night but someone from reception came straight away and dealt with them. Having a bit of downtime here meant we could use the pool. It was surreal to be in the pool having Elephants walking by 15 feet away. Finally a mention about Joseph, the happiest man in Kenya, an absolute star.

Everyone was very welcoming at the lodge, the staff were all friendly, the food was good and the service was excellent. The highlight for me was coming so close to the elephant having a mud bath at Waterhole one. There are three water holes along the electric fence, and sitting watching the wildlife with only a wire fence between you is the most incredible feeling. There was so much activity at the waterholes, hippo, zebra, Kongoni, elephants and one evening there was an altercation between the lion and elephant at the Water hole. A must for animal lovers.

A lovely stay in a fantastic resort with wonderful views from our rooms! A few suggestions to improve - - rooms a little aged and mosquito nets do not stop mosquitos getting through. - staff very rude regarding paying bills for drinks demanding signatures when already stated we would be paying after dinner for drinks. - the pool was horrendously dirty and this stopped us from going in. The pool really needed a good clean and should be maintained a lot better.

VERY impressed with the view I got and the cleanliness if the lodge in general. There is however 1 tiny thing that could be improved and that is being able to have juice at lunch without having to pay extra for it. But other than that excellent lodge.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Ashnil Aruba Lodge! The lodge is perfect, right in the heart of Tsavo East, with stunning views of animals near the waterhole that attracts a variety of wildlife. The rooms were comfortable and clean, offering a cozy retreat after our game drives. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was also fantastic, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we highly recommend Ashnil Aruba for anyone visiting Tsavo East!

Unfortunately our vehicle had broken down and so we arrived really late to the hotel. Staff were very helpful with showing us our room - food seemed ok but we were so tired not sure we fully appreciated it. Beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers.
