Marietjie was a fantastic host! The room was spectacular, super clean and very comfy and had everything we needed. The location is breathtaking, would 100% recommend it

Stopped over for 1 night and great stay with walking distance to restaurant with great garden and view. Peaceful and quiet. Room had everything you need, very nice and clean and great shower. Excellent communication from hosts.

We received a warm friendly welcome from Marietjie. She took us to our room and explained how everything worked given that they had a power failure in the area during our stay. Despite the power outage everything worked fine as they have an efficient generator. Great rooms. Beautiful gardens. Thank you Marietjie. This will definitely be our overnight stay on our way to Kruger from now on.

We wanted a place out of town, it was perfect. They had exactly what what we needed. A perfect garden to relax , the quietness and peaceful. The rooms are great, clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my day throughout. I loved every moment there.

The quite and tranquil surroundings, with birds singing was all I needed to relax. I will recommend this guest house to anyone travelling to Tzaneen. Our hostess Marietjie, went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Always ready to help and very friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and the staff was always friendly and always available to assist. Rooms are cleaned daily. I was treated as a queen. I will definitely stay there again. The quite and tranquil surroundings was all I needed to relax. Most relaxing 4 days ever. No complaints at all.

The view the cleanliness tranquility location great, the host friendly. Great for soul searching. Quite place...only afraid of dogs. Proximity to town, entertainment places. Highly commendable. Lovely

Great service. Friendly host. Great ambience. Good communication from host. Peaceful area,no noise. The place is also clean.Overall stay was beautiful. Will definitely book at St Gorges Guest House again.

If you are looking for an authentic guest house experience whilst travelling in South Africa I can highly recommend St Georges. From the warm welcome to the lovely bedrooms this guest house provides the perfect location for a quick stop off or a good base to explore the local area.
