We traveled as a big group of family and friends. We booked 6 rooms, and I stayed with my wife and 6-month-old baby in a pool villa. The location: The resort is located about 45 minutes from the Red Sea International Airport (RSI) in a remote location sandwiched between mountains and sand dunes. Looking into the horizon, you will see mountains, sand dunes, and the sea. There are very few places that offer such a gorgeous mix of scenery! The room: We stayed in a 2-bedroom pool villa. The room is very spacious, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable! The room is well-designed and well-equipped. The spacious bathroom has a huge shower, huge bathtub, and even a Japanese smart toilet (a big plus!). I also liked that they provided liquid hand soap in the bathroom, but the scent in the products (like the shampoo and conditioner) was far too strong for us. (I believe it was Oud fragrance.) There was a kitchenette with a sink which was very convenient for us to wash the baby bottles and place our baby bottle sterilizer. This was a big plus for us as parents with a 6-month-old baby. Spa and recreation: The resort's design is beautiful, and it has a lot of spa and recreation facilities. First and foremost is their incredible spa. My wife had a great experience there, and she wished she had more time to spend at the spa. Katoot, the massage therapist, gave her an excellent massage, and Maram at the spa reception was very courteous and shared a lot of helpful information. The spa is really great, don’t miss it! Monthly visitors also provide different wellness services at the resort, so check out who is visiting when you book. There’s also a very well-equipped gym so that you can stay fit. Our favourite spots were the beautiful main pool, and the sunset bar, which has the best views at the resort, and is a must visit during sunset! Suggestion: Given the focus on wellness, it would be great if the resort could add tennis or padel courts between the dunes or even a small football field. It would make for a wonderful sport experience in line with the hotel’s focus on wellbeing. The food: There are 3 restaurants. The food is between good and excellent. In general, the quality is high, but we wanted more variety. We liked that they have the farm-to-table concept for some of the dishes and use local ingredients, promoting health and sustainability. But we wanted to see more of this concept. The first restaurant is Bariya, where breakfast is served. Breakfast is very good, but I wanted to see more signature breakfast dishes, like special waffles or signature eggs. There are several stations, including fresh pita bread. We loved the fresh pita, but wished they had more options like cheese or labnah or meat fatayer. The bakery is excellent, and we enjoyed the croissants, but we also would’ve liked more options. Same with the cheese station. Fruit selection could also be better (the melon was excellent!). One of our favourite stations had amazing homemade j
