It’s an adventure to get here but is so worth it. We came from Carriacou for 3 nights. Travelled over on the MV Pride ( Union to Carriacou and back on Mondays and Fridays), good crossing which took about an hour, Mario the captain looked after immigration for us. We were met by Roseman with his electric ATV to drive us to Chatham Bay, takes about 20 mins and the final part down to the bay is very off road but Roseman knows what he’s doing. Tenuta is beautifully set on this lovely beach. Only 4 cabins which are stylish and comfortable with air conditioning. Bar and restaurant are very good, lots of cocktails, beer, wine and genuine spirits (rather than the dodgy local ones). They have a pizza oven - yummy pizzas, as well as fish, steaks, chicken etc. Antonio, Ivana and the team run a really professional and friendly place here. Thanks to Lissia and Jeri-Lee for looking after us so well. There is snorkelling directly off the beach, kayaks and paddle board also available to use. There are a couple of beach bars/ restaurants at the other end of the beach if you want a change of scene. Boats moor in the bay and they come ashore in the evening. Highly recommend Tenuta and Chatham Bay

Chatham Bay is a special place. We were sailing the Grenadines and came in for one night. Three days later we were still there. From the time the owner, Antonio, promptly took our reservation by email to coming out himself to tie us up to one of his mooring balls, no detail was overlooked. The beach is lovely, nice saltwater pool, and most importantly nice comfy sofas and chairs in the shade to enjoy it all. The food is excellent. Hint - Although it’s not on the menu they will make you a nice West Indian curry if you ask. Tenuta is not for everyone. If you are looking for a large resort don’t come here. If you like small boutique hotels completely off the beaten path with a genuinely friendly staff, you’ll love it.

A wonderful place for relaxation and quiet! The cabins are amazing, with such beautiful views, comfortable beds and a nice shower. The beach is clean and you can snorkel along the shoreline; on just on a few explorations we saw a variety of fish, eel and crabs. We also very much enjoyed the food and relaxed a**osphere, and the staff were attentive and caring. Earlier reviews have stated challenging access by boat, but we had a really nice trip from Clifton with an electrical 4x4 vehicle (last 10-15 min on a bumpy dirt road adds to the feeling of remoteness). The resort has an agreement with the Union Island Environmental Alliance (UIEA), and our driver was really nice, sharing his knowledge about the island, the forest, endemic species etc. It's 100 EC$, but very much worth it. We also ended up doing other activities (birdwatching and kayaking) with UIEA which we both very much enjoyed.

This is an absolutely stunning, small resort with just 4 cottages, of which we took 3 for our family of six (youngest 14). They are super comfortable with excellent air con and quality beds so we all slept really well. We opted for the all inclusive package which was well worth it. Food, cocktails and wine were all excellent. Chatham Bay itself is beautiful with some great walks for those who don't mind a bit of a climb. There was lots of nature to see too. There is a small team of very hard working, friendly people who made us feel very welcome. One of the days, Iwona kindly organised a boat trip for us (with Damo) to Mayreau and Happy Island. Great value and well worth doing. We would love to go back sometime soon.

We had a truly lovely time at Tenuta. It must be one of the most relaxing and enjoyable places we have ever stayed. This is partly because of the very comfortable cottage, the excellent food, the amazing location, the beautiful views of the sea, and the almost deserted beach. However, the pleasure of being there also owed a great deal to the way we were looked after. It felt as though were staying with friends who were not only working very hard on our behalf but were interested in us as people and were happy to share something of their own lives as well. It really is a wonderful, peaceful place.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. They even set up our day trip to Tobago Cays. It was a great experience and we enjoyed a relaxing week there.

If you want glitz and entertainment this is not the place for you. If you are seeking privacy, tranquility, excellent food and drinks and quality accommodation, then you will love it at Tenuta Chatham Bay. Arrival is by water taxi which adds to the sense of adventure. There are four separate cottage bedrooms with huge comfy beds and bathrooms. All have verandas overlooking the bay. The bar area is a great place to just sit and watch the yachts that come and go in the bay, and to enjoy local cocktails or sample Antonio’s excellent Sicilian wine selection. Dining is reliant on locally caught fish, vegetables and we had a top quality steak one night - or enjoy the spectacle of Antonio’s home made wood fired pizzas from his specially imported oven. If you’re feeling in need of exercise, you can take a gentle stroll along the bay to one of several rum shacks on the beach. Then take a tip in the sea or float in the hotel’s infinity pool. Three days wasn’t enough at this special place where you can truly switch off, we will be back.

We chartered a sailboat out of Grenada and Tenuta came highly recommended as a good place for great food, safe and quiet anchorage and friendly owner so we made a stop there on the way to and from Tobago Cays. Tenuta is in the South side of Chatham Bay. Their mooring balls were very solid and the anchorage is very clean and calm. The bay looks lovely and the villas look absolutely stunning. We can tell that the staff took great care looking after the place. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for low season (open in Nov) but the owner Antonio was super helpful and friendly. When we talked to him we learn that he is very passionate about the protection of Chatham Bay and the nature reserve around it. He is well respected in town and greeted by everyone that we met on the way. He is very involved with his resort/restaurant and sent his chefs for training in Italy. He didn't only help us with checking in/out and provisioning but also helped us fixed our rigging during his busy day which was way above and beyond. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend this lovely resort and restaurant to those who visit Union Island, Grenada or St. Vincent and the Grenadines to come experience his hospitality.

Honestly don’t know where to begin with our stay. Me and my boyfriend had the most amazing service at Tenuta Chatham. From them picking us up last minute due lack of our organisation skills, but I left my passport in my previous hotel and Antonio, the owner, organised for it be transported on a plane from the previous island to the hotel!!! Ivana was another person who made us feel like we were at home. We were grateful for how accommodating they were completely. Also the food is some of the best food I’ve ever had in the Caribbean. I could talk about compliment how beautiful and perfect everything was but just all in all 20/10! Definitely recommend and can’t wait to be back. Thank you for everything
