Hotel Resort El Montico - Singular's Hotels

Very expensive, lovely looking hotel but no substance, horrible attitude from the restaurant manager, good honesty from the workers though! Fridge/freezer in room totally iced so couldn’t use it. Okay but not worth the money. Steak was horrible, really bad quality, hardly cooked, other food was expensive and okay, nothing more. The waiter knew exactly that it wasn’t right, took it back and said he would change it (I asked for a vegetable dish instead). However, I then discovered that the manager would not change it as we had tried to eat some of the meat and ate a few chips and peppers. He said he would come back with a solution but did not so we just left. He at least managed to take the steak of the bill, which was still the most expensive bill for the entire holiday (and we had eaten very well elsewhere for half the price). They still included bread etc., which we hadn’t asked for and hadn’t arrived anyhow. The swimming pool was okay, the location good as a halfway between Alicante region and Asturias right next to the motorway. We had to wait a couple of hours for the room, and we had arrived after check-in (around 1610 and it had opened at 1500). We were given a drink but it would have been nice to have had the room as we have young children, who had been travelling for many hours.

Had a one night stay in this hotel on the way to the ferry in Santander, well located next to a motorway. The cost of the room was £171 B&B…so not cheap for a motorway side hotel….the biggest let down was the food, the only way to describe it was inedible. I left all of my evening dinner, going to bed hungry! The breakfast was basically bread and then eggs/bacon which they didn’t bother to keep warm and some mushy fruit and cornflakes. I just don’t understand how they can get the food so wrong, lots of chefs in the kitchen and as we were the only ones dining I thought we would be in for a treat but NO!

We were quite taken aback by this hotel. We'll designed and quirky. Our room was huge, beds are so comfy and bathroom great size with amazing shower. We had evening meal and breakfast booked, food is lovely. Very relaxing vibe at this hotel, we felt very comfortable. Although I'm not a wheelchair user I noticed that the hotel has many ramps and even stairlift. The staff are very helpful when I needed help with a problem Bonus is that it's in a wine growing region, perfect scenario.

We arrived late due to our car break g down so by the the pool was closed and no choice other than to eat in the main restaurant. We would have preferred a lighter meal on the terrace. Our meal was presented beautifully although the fillet steak was very rare & the Monk fish sish was very salty. The starter of octopus was excellent as was the house red and white wine choice. Our room was basic but very comfortable and nice pillows. Breakfast. The bread was like a rock & pastry very sweet, small plate of meat and cheese. The receptionist was very helpful and organised a hire car for us to get to the ferry as our car was still out of commission. I'd like to visit again even to see the hotel properly and use the facilities.

Buen menú especial y a burn precio, sitio limpio, personal comptometido en hacerlo bien, amables. Han reabierto hace poco y ponen empeño en ello aportandonos un servicio que demandamos en la zona y que nos da mucha vidilla. Les deseo lo mejor en esta nueva etapa.

Pasamos dos noches todo muy bien nos atendió Esther una chica muy agradable y profesional ,las instalaciones muy bonitas algún fallo pero nos dijeron que acaban de abrir y volveremos por que todo el personal lo mejor y el entorno nos gusto mucho

Hemos parado a cargar el Tesla. Entramos en la cacería a comer algo y SOLO ofrecen un pincho de tortilla, y de pimiento. Nada mas. De todos modos, no tienen visión de negocio??? Por dentro la cafetería es bonita, eso sí. Pero vamos, que en frente está la gasolinera Valcárce y un restaurante. No sé por qué Tesla ha puesto aquí sus puntos de carga.

Lieu qui pourrait être bien si c'était entretenu. Sale n'est pas le mot qui convient le mieux,, honteusement sale est mieux. Salle de bain épouvantable, au point de ne pas m'être douchee. A se demander si le ménage y est fait... Frigo de la chambre dégoûtant, salle de bain crasseuse, la bomde de la douche a mon avis jamais nettoyee , toile d'araignées au dessus de nos têtes au petit déjeuner. A fuir !

Con lo que ha sido y lo que es. Caro, sucio y hace un frio que están los pingüinos andando por la cafetería. No tienen ni cerveza . Luego ya está el atraco a la hora de cobrar por cuatro vinos peleones 14 euros. Atraco a mano armada. El tema ya de los baños ni hablamos ... Corta vida !!!
