We went to vakkaru for our 8th wedding anniversary. Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect our stay was. My wife and I are seasoned travelers and are lucky to have stayed all over the world at four seasons, ritz Carlton, st Regis etc. We have never experienced anything like this in terms of the service, food and scenery. Coming from the us, the journey was very long but I can honestly say that in this case it was well worth it. The moment we arrived our butler Adhil could not do enough for us. He was there for us literally whenever we needed him to bring us around the resort or help us with really anything at all. The level of service and detail here is unlike anything else we have ever experinced. All staff are smiling, genuinely happy and know you by name. They literally never say no and will trip over each other to satisfy anything you could ever want. Again, being from the US, we are used to good service but never anything quite like this. The food here was to die for as well. Our favorite places were onu for the Indian/thai cuisine and lagoon bar for sunset cocktails. We never had a bad meal here and that is saying something as my wife and I are rather snobbish about food but can honestly say that this was some of the best food we have ever had We had two spa treatments at mera a spa which were absolutely sensational and worth every penny. Do your self a favor and opt for the Balinese massage on one day and the ayuredevic massage another day. Heaven! We have never seen a beach quite like this in all of our travels. Photos don’t do justice. You can literally see straight to the bottom and the ocean was warm and crystal clear. We were able to sleep like babies with a million dollar view from our villa. Unbelievable. The bed was so comfy and cold and refreshing. Snorkeling from our room direct into the Indian Ocean is something that we will never forget. You could see sting rays, nurse sharks and all kinds of colorful fish straight from your villa We liked that the resort was large but not so full as it seemed that we saw a lot of the same couples and families out at dinner and made friends that we will stay in touch with. Kind of like a white lotus vibe in a sense. We went snorkeling with manta rays as the resort offers excursions to world famous nearby hanifaru bay and got to swim with turtles too! We loved being able to take our bikes down the lush jungle paths whenever we wanted or if were tired or lazy or dressed up for dinner, our butler would take us on demand in his buggy My wife and I took this trip and left our two daughters, 6 and 1 years of age, for the first time with her mother and this was a trip that we’ll never forget. As a matter of fact we are already counting down to when our youngest is old enough to come and snorkel with us as we will def be lifers here at the resort One thing to keep in mind is that it is quiet and luxurious and the vibe is more of romance and relaxation. The scenery didn't have to be said, but from the evening, there were a lot of huge cockroaches indoors and outdoors. It was very affecting the experience. On the day of the departure, the hotel made a mistake in my trip, which caused me to wake up at 5:30 in the morning and told me that I had to leave the store after 20 minutes. They put the notice of leaving the store at an inconspicuous place at the door. I didn't see the information that I personally think is important. It is best to ensure that I can do it if I can do it. My best day experience will not be destroyed.

Highly recommended! All the hotel's facilities are new, the beach is A-grade, the snorkeling is A-grade, and the service is top-notch. All the restaurants on the island are very delicious. It is recommended to include breakfast and dinner because the dishes are so large. When we were on the island, the only Chinese-speaking housekeeper was on vacation. Our housekeeper was Nathu, a very beautiful, cute and capable girl, and all the waiters on the island worked hard to interact with us in Chinese, which was a good experience. There is a professional snorkeling instructor who is very enthusiastic about explaining which types of fish can be seen in which areas. We stayed for 5 nights and snorkeled 3 times. We saw babyshake, rays, swordfish and many colorful small fish. . It is recommended to participate in the sunset fishing activity. I caught a lot of fish in 2 hours and the experience was great. This is a resort worth experiencing. Compared with islands of the same quality, the price of Avani is obviously much cheaper and the price-performance ratio is very high. highly recommended!

Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner au Finolhu Hotel Maldives durant le mois de décembre. Notre séjour était plus que parfait au delà de nos espérance et je dirai même comme un rêve, une pure magie ! L’expérience Finolhu est un tout mais ou le client est toujours au centre : - Cela commence par un magnifique lounge pour attendre le sea plane. - l’experience sea plane est un must quand on visite les maldives - a l’arrivée a l’hôtel (atterrissage du sea plane) toute l’equipe de Finolhu nous attendait. Nous avons été accueilli avec des Jus de noix de coco ou le responsable Shaima nous a présenté à notre conseillère particulière Ikram (oui chaque famille a une personne dédiée pour s’assurer que le séjour se passe bien !) L’hotel a assuré que nous ayons une conseillère qui parle Français on connaissant d’avance notre nationalité ! - le check-in se fait a la chambre (pas besoin d’attendre une éternité à la reception) Ikram qui nous a fait le tour en buggy nous a accompagné jusqu’à notre chambre et nous a fait le check-in en 2 minutes chronos pendant que nous prenions repère de notre magnifique chambre - la chambre était juste sublime (Nous avions pris une chambre Water laggoon villa). Le design était juste avec le thème maldives, moderne mais avec une touche des iles. La vue était superbe sur la mer et la plage de loin ! À noter que la chambre était tres spacieuse 145m2 ! - Le service de la chambre est extraordinaire ! La chambre est refaite plusieurs fois dans la journée (a chaque fois qu’on sort et on revient) la chambre est refaite ! - l’hotel à développer une application pour les clients ou on peut trouver tout les programmes de la journée pour les adultes et pour les enfants, on peut booker les restaurants, le spa a travers l’application et le top on pouvait communiquer a travers un chat H24 et la réponse est dans les 30 secondes qui suit ! Juste une inimaginable ! On pouvait demandé n’importe quoi et l’hôtel s’assurer de l’excellent service ! - Pour se déplacer dans l’ile ou de la chambre au restaurant ou a la plage des buggy sont mis a disposition et y’on a plein contrairement a pleins d’hôtels aux maldives ou on galère pour trouver un buggy la ca manque pas ! - Le personnel de l’hôtel est très accueillant, chaleureux , souriants toujours aux soins. Un service extraordinaire digne d’un 7 étoiles ! - le restaurant principale propose chaque soirée un thème (italien, indien, latino, maldivien, street food,…). On lisant les reviews de pas mal d’hôtels aux maldives on a cru comprendre que la nourriture n’était pas le point fort des hôtels mais au Finolhu c’était juste délicieux ! On avait toujours une partie grillade poisson, boeuf, steak, poulet. Les desserts étaient secculents ! Had a great holiday at the beautiful Westin. The 45-minute flight distance from Male Airport is just right, and the hotel's pick-up and drop-off services are very attentive. Our order included breakfast and dinner, and one of the dinners could be reserved at the Japanese restaurant. The buffet has a rich variety and you can taste food from different countries. Due to the strong wind and waves during this period, unfortunately we were unable to participate in sea activities such as paddle boarding, but the coaches held a fierce volleyball match in the swimming pool. You can see some corals 🪸 and tropical fish 🐠 while snorkeling. The room facilities are impeccable. The most impressive thing is the enthusiasm of the staff. Whether it is the welcome and farewell queue at the pier, the chat in the restaurant, or the greetings when we meet on the road, it makes you feel as if you are in a familiar community and feel more relaxed and comfortable. If there is a chance in the future, I will come again!

It is a hotel that you will not regret staying at. The room was large and relaxing. The staff were well educated and polite. The hotel is for sightseeing.

Our journey to Soneva Fushi was as delightful as the stay. The 30-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport (MLE) to the resort offered mesmerizing views of coral reefs and lagoons. The experience began even before we arrived, with pampering at the Soneva lounge at the terminal, setting the tone for what was to come. We were greeted in our villa with a complimentary bottle of Leclerc Briant champagne, a thoughtful touch that perfectly aligned with the resort’s eco-friendly ethos.
