Avenue Lodge Hotel & Spa

Excellent spa, large rooms at reasonable prices but the staff made the difference. All welcoming, helpful and attentive. Great stay at a great hotel. Would recommend this hotel to anyone that enjoys relaxing at a well equipped spa close to the slopes and looking for great service.

I went to have an apre ski massage and it was a disapointement. The staff was rude and cynical. The massageur was clearly not a professional... Not to repeat. If you want to relax after ski, definitely choose another place. .

As newcomers to V d’Isere, we felt in safe hands with the professional concierge, Guillame. We also appreciated the kind, courteous, warm service of ( amongst several) Claudia, Jade and Clement. The onsite spa team and ski hire team were also brilliant. We visited the well designed spa daily! The housekeeping was excellent too. Thank you team for a great stay-we definitely intend to return

Truly fantastic hotel. Yes, rooms, amenities, bar and restaurant are all wonderful, but what makes the place is the fabulous staff. And then there's the awesome live band on Friday nights...so good they're worth visiting even if not staying at the hotel!

Our stay at Avenue Lodge in the week before Christmas was exceptional in every way. The hotel’s central location is perfect to enjoy all that the beautiful Val d Isere has to offer. The room was perfect; modern, stylish, well-equipped and had a fantastic view of the slopes from the balcony. A complimentary bottle of champagne in the room on my birthday was a wonderful touch. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very helpful each and every morning. The spa and bar area were both lovely and provided a great opportunity to relax after a day on the slopes. Whilst all of the above were fantastic, the hotel’s most significant asset was its customer service - the concierge and reception staff were nothing short of phenomenal. Visiting the resort for the first time, the staff provided us with recommendations for activities and restaurants, made bookings for us and even provided us with a shuttle service to harder to reach venues. On our return each time they took a genuine interest in how we found the experience. The helpful, happy and polite demeanour of each and every member of staff was unparalleled in our opinion. We would return tomorrow without hesitation - an absolute gem of a hotel that all involved with should be very proud of.

The location is very central and the service throughout the hotel was superb. Provision made for showers after checkout and skiing made the whole stay such that I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The bedrooms are of a very high quality and the beds very comfortable.
