Savanh Sunset View Resort

Clean and spacious rooms, good management. Quiet area with a breathtaking view new balloon starting point. Breakfast is basic, but enough for the day. I liked the hotel and people here. Recommend the place for enjoing the nature

We booked the resort for two nights first and extended to stay longer. Had a very good time at Savanh Sunset View Resort. Nothing was trouble there and Mrs Spring could help you with anything that you may need. Room has great view and is kept clean daily. Pool is nice and breakfast is nice too. Highly recommend this place to everyone coming to Vang Vieng.

My family booked into this hotel at the last minute as we were not happy with the hotel we had booked in town. Savanh Sunset View is on the edge of Vang Vieng so you dont hear all the noisy partying going on there all night but just 10 mins to walk in for food and shops. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but what made our stay there fabulous was the staff. They were all helpful and friendly and a special 'thank you' to Spring who arranged tours for us and even helped us with a phone to call our bank in the UK.

We stayed here for two nights and the hotel itself was okay. Our room had previously had a large water damage on the ceiling which showed, but other than that it was fine. However you should not visit this hotel if you appreciate good service-minded management. Previous to our stay we had booked a hot air balloon ride through the management of the hotel. We had originally looked at another air balloon company but were persuaded by the hotel manager to book through her instead, as she claimed the trip would last for 1 hour instead of half an hour, which she claimed the other companies’ did. We paid the price as agreed upon and were extremely disappointed when the air balloon descended after only 30 minutes. Upon asking the manager about this, she suddenly changed her mind and said that her recommendation was based on a personal experience, where she was flown around for an hour. We made it clear that we expected a price reduction as we were not provided with the full experience we had paid for and that her guidance had been misleading. This she abruptly refused to give back part of the money and she became very unpleasant. She started answering back flippantly and ignoring our responses. We were supposed to leave the hotel a few hours later through a minibus, which she had booked for us, and suddenly she started threatening us to cancel the minibus and not help us with anything. Finally she decided to give us a 5$ price reduction (which is nothing considering we paid 95$). Definitely not a recommendation from here, which is a shame since the rest of the staff were nice.

When we arrived at Savanh we were greeted by Spring who was the loveliest and most friendly lady. We originally booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 4 as we enjoyed our stay so much. Spring helped us to book a hot air balloon ride as well as a bus to Vientiane. Would highly recommend staying here!

Me and my partner booked this hotel for one night, after staying there and spending most the day in the beautiful pool and room we decided to spend two more nights. The breakfast is amazing and the man and women who own it are the main reason we loved it so much, so friendly and helpful! It’s a small walk away from the main bars but it’s one straight road and so worth the walk. If you go to Vangvieng I would highly recommend staying here ❤️❤️

Hôtel au bord de la route. Assez bruyant. Nous y sommes restés 2 jours et ils n'ont pas nettoyé la chambre bien que nous ayons laissé les clés. Salle de bain veille. Douche chaude. Bref je recommande pas.

Hôtel propre. Situé en dehors du centre ville. Wifi correct. Attention pas de service de restauration sur place contrairement à ce qui est écrit sur les sites. Petit déjeuner correct Service de blanchisserie très abordable et rapide. Parle un peu anglais
