Very clean, the furniture is new, the staff is great! Breakfast is so-so, the same things every day

酒店位置可以，面對中央公園，但酒店一般般，寧願住遠一點，開車過來mantaza 看，（這地方也沒有什麼看，可住可不住）

Charmantes Boutique- Hotel im Kolonialstil sehr zentral in Matanzas. Provisorische Rezeption, freundlicher Empfang, gute Organisation. Sehr schöne Patios im Erdgeschoss. Moderne Zimmer auf mehreren Etagen, aber kein Fahrstuhl. Aber Hotelpersonal bringt die Koffer aufs Zimmer. Kostenloses WLAN, das aber nur im Patio funktioniert. Schöne, ausreichend große Zimmer, sauber mit hygienischem Fliesenfußboden. Modernes Bad mit stufenloser Dusche. Flachbild-TV, Kühlschrank, Safe, Klimaanlage, Kaffeekocher mit Kaffee und Tee. 1 Flasche Wasser gratis. Sehr zentrale Lage am Parque Libertad. Von hier ist fast alles Sehenswerte der Stadt fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück wird interessanterweise nicht als Buffet sondern als Gängemenu angeboten. War durchaus zufriedenstellend. Das restaurant haben wir nicht besucht. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen!

Una de las mejores experiencias de los viajes que he dado. Excelente el trato, la comida espectacular, las facilidades hermosas, el personal super amable y atentos a todo. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Estamos locos por volver.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Stadt mit schöner Aussicht auf den Marktplatz. Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug, da es noch aus der Zeit von Batista stammt (wie fast alles was in Kuba noch funktioniert). Der Check In und die Aufnahme des Essens dauerte Kuba-sozialistisch etwas länger dafür ist das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Zimmer hinten raus mit Balkon und Blick auf die Seitenstrasse, wo man das "echte" Kuba mit verfallenen Häusern sehen kann. Nachts ist es leider recht laut, da Kubaner so etwas wie Nachtruhe nicht kennen .. man hört laute Motorradgeräusche und ab und zu jemanden der zuviel Rum erwischt hat :) Dafür hat im Zimmer alles funktioniert und man kann dort in dem Hotel kolonila Atmoshäre geniessen und kommt sich vor wie in einem Film aus den 50er Jahren.

We didn’t stay at the Velasco, but we went to the bar two nights in a row because the bartenders are all so nice. Osmay, Oliver and Yanerys all know how to mix great drinks. Osmay is the best at the “Velasco,” a drink named for the famous hotel itself. It is a colorful creation that has mint and grenadine liqueurs. He also speaks perfect English and is a gifted conversationalist whose passions outside of the bar are Baseball and Fishing. Yanerys is famous for inventing the “Purple Everest Daquiri” that includes a magical combination of wines and liquors that is not only extremely tasty, but also really beautiful when properly prepared (see pictures). Oliver is a gifted mixologist with a rich appreciation of the ingredients and techniques used, and regularly creates new and innovative mixed drinks. He showed us one design utilizing multiple colored liqueurs. Needless to say, this is a fun environment. It’s a beautiful hotel lobby bar with super nice staff.

Me encantó el lugar... La atención espectacular, personal muy amables,un lugar de confianza , con espacios muy bonitos para conversar..la comida si bien no es muy variada, pero es bien preparada....muy recomendable y espero volver algún día no muy lejano gracias por todo
