Hotel Villa Cipressi, by R Collection Hotels

這個酒店在科莫湖的邊上，是索倫託小鎮的中心位置，是一幢古老的別墅，走幾步就是小鎮中心教堂和鐘樓。 小鎮不大，但是非常漂亮，臨科莫湖而建，旁邊有個山，山上還有個城堡，整個小鎮逛一圈要半天時間，登上城堡可以俯瞰科莫湖風光。 環境：環境真的超美，開窗就是科莫湖，出門左轉就是小鎮中心位置，吃飯很方便。 衞生：衞生間條件不錯，有淋浴房，地磚很有藝術感，床品不錯，床超級大。 設施：古堡上面的房間，是個閣樓，樓下是餐廳，早晨服務員準備早餐有點吵，設施相對陳舊些，隔音效果一般。

Beautiful botanical gardens, with a lovely and (relatively cheap compared to the area) bottle of wine. The views were amazing and would definite recommend, free appetisers brought out with the drinks and great service from the team! Will be back!

I highly recommend hosting your wedding at Villa Cipressi. We hosted our wedding of ~50 guests there in early October and it could not have gone any better. The staff (Everyone from Marco Events Manager, Nicolette from the events team, Marco catering manager and his wife Tanya, the front desk team, etc) really worked hard to make sure things went smoothly! I was VERY impressed with the level of service provided considering how popular this venue is! Thank you so much to the team at Villa Cipressi for being such kind and hard working professionals. I especially want to say thank you to Marco catering and also his wife Tanya as they went above and beyond to make our day special. We had many vegetarians and other dietary restrictions and the team took care to make sure things went well without problems including personally serving them and confirming all dietary restrictions with us before hand. The team went above and beyond to support our wedding and I could not recommend this hotel more to host your wedding here! It is even more beautiful and well manicured than the photos. No photos will ever do it justice! The hotel rooms are updated, clean, and nice. The hotel property is central to Varenna and has a lot of great restaurants, cafes, etc all within 5 minute walking distance.

We stayed there two nights and they had. wedding on both nights. All the grounds and amenities were completely off limits starting at 2pm each day to set up and have the wedding. Clearly they prioritize events over the hotel guests. A room right below our bedroom was used as a nightclub the first night for the wedding with deafening music. When we called to complain they said “not to worry it will be over by 11pm…”. Classy. The hotel refused to partially refund us and instead offered a dinner for two for our next visit. Hilarious. Upper management barely returned our emails. Do not book there if looking for a good experience.

The noise levels throughout the hotel and in my room were absolutely horrible up until 11 PM. The room was expensive and very poor. It's as if no one at the hotel really cares.

Over 5 stars for service! I would like to specially acknowledge Nipa who was so helpful and took great care of us during our stay in Varenna. I was sick and she worked with my wife to arrange an appointment with a doctor nearby. She walked with us to the clinic and helped to provide translation for me at the doctor. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels before. Never have I ever seen someone go above and beyond to care for us. The management should be proud to have her be a part of their team. Also I would like to acknowledge Euness who was very helpful in taking care of us when the air conditioning had stopped working. Luca, Lavianna, and Nicolette at the front desk were also very kind and helpful. We had a memorable stay here at Hotel Villa Cipressi because of the stellar service we received. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Great view. Great location. Central to all attractions on Varrena. Nicest area in Como.

Ok, so here it goes. Against my better judgement I booked this hotel even though I read the reviews. I honestly thought that my experience would be much different. The reviews I read stated that the noise level in certain areas of the hotel were out of control especially during wedding receptions. This is true as I have just experienced a huge level of noise from the wedding partying that was gathering outside of my room door. And the noise did not end until 3:15am. The next day at breakfast some of the guest were expressing how awful the noise was and that they were going to management to express their concerns. I truly believe that nothing will ever be done on behave of the guest that pay to stay at this hotel. Look at all of the reviews on here that particularly discuss the noise situation and yet nothing has been done about. They just don’t care! This hotel slightly false advertises because They do not have a full service restaurant in which I wasn’t aware of therefore you will need to have lunch and dinner off the premises of the hotel. They advertise that there is a pool and spa at this hotel this is so untrue the very small pool and very small spa is not on this hotel premises however it is located at their sister hotel. Regarding the aesthetics of the rooms they definitely charge way too much for what you get. The furniture is scratched up and somewhat broken and out dated there are stains on the walls and paint chipping throughout the entire room. See photos attached. To sum up this review I will say if you are looking for peace, quiet, relaxation, great Italian food, 4/5 star service this is not the hotel for you. Oh one more thing l forgot to add is my television was broken and no one could repair it and I was without service more than half the day. The one good thing I can say is, the staff is very attentive and friendly.
