Phoenix Beachside Condos

Our condo was a generous size, with 3 balconies - 2 of which had sea views. The bed and soft furnishings were comfortable and clean. There was plenty of storage. The kitchen had full-size appliances, including an oven. Tho dated, the bathroom was spacious. Stefanos, our host, was warm and friendly and Mariniki, who welcomed us at the property was very chatty. Our condo was good value for money. It’s a quiet location; tavernas and beach bars are a short drive away. We were disappointed with the location, however. We had understood from the name and the pictures that we would be beachFRONT, not beachSIDE, with direct access to the shoreline. In fact, the property is about 250 m (a short walk) from the sea. There were a couple of cleaning issues on arrival. The fridge needed to be wiped down before we could put away our food and a grill pan with dried meat juices had been left unwashed in the oven. The leak from the bottom of the toilet bowl took 3 days to fix; despite asking, we were not able to change rooms and were not offered a discount for the inconvenience. The hot water tank took time to heat, but when it did the water was very,, very hot.

We stayed at the Phoenix Beachside Condos for two weeks. I have an 18 month old toddler and I was a little skeptical of what we were going to face. Stefanos, the owner, had everything sorted out by bringing a small crib in our room. The apartments are big enough and they have everything you need to make your vacation easier and pleasant. Furthermore they are spotless clean. Apart from that they have a great view, overlooking the Corinthian bay. The premises around the condos are meticulously made as well. Grass and flowers and of course free parking space. Apart from that the place is very safe and the staff polite and kind. Another asset for us is that it is pet friendly. Stefanos is very helpful and kind and always ready to provide you with information and he has an eye for the details (information for emergency and food and grocery delivery in English). The place abides to the hygiene protocols due to COVID-19. I definitely recommend it!
