Nørre Vosborg Hotel & Gastronomi

A real nice surprise. In need for a single night I booked a room here. Fairy tale surrounding, nice room, and an excellent dinner. Breakfast looked great, but I did not have that. If I will be in this area again, this will be me choice for the stay.

Wonderful historic manor house experience! The listed Nørre Vosborg manor house has been beautifully preserved. We had a wonderful experience, including the accommodation (at the Little Nørre Vosborg annex), private manor house tour, dinner, musical entertainment, breakfast and a visit to the bird watching tower by the seaside nearby. The entire unique experience is well worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Based on a VERY pleasant experience, I have decided to take the time to offer my feedback of my stay at Nørre Vosborg. My reason for being at Nørre Vosborg was as a facilitator of a business critical process, and as such I experienced both the conference facilities and the hotel/accommodation facilities of Nørre Vosborg. Conference: Although I was not part of the practical arrangements i was on CC of most of the correspondence and what I have witnessed is a professional approach to arranging business meetings, a strong proactive drive in suggesting and deciding an actions relevant for me as a facilitator and a flexibility that have made it very easy for me to deliver what was expected of me. The ability to adjust according to our agenda was imminent and delivered with ease and at no point I felt that I was “difficult”. The venue as such is simply the most impressive workshop venue I have ever used. LARGE room with an outstanding acoustics in original and buildings, that has been renovated with an extreme standard of quality and aestethics. WOW… AV facilities worked with no glitches and a very high quality. Hotel and rooms: If you want to see Scandinavian design and architecture, this is the place… everything from doorhandles to room TV and furniture has been carefully selected and have been put into a building that displays Scandinavian minimalism with a high degree of confidence… WOW…. Where else will you se a +100meter long building blend in with a classical estate in a rural surroundings… it is so classy, that just being there will build a positive atmosphere… I am still blown away. Food and beverages: Delicate fine cuisine with no fancypants but “just” quality in everything from the selection of raw produce over cooking to the servings… delicate home baked bread, exquisite butter, fresh fish and organic meat with fresh vegetables…. Wow wow and WOW So… I offer my full recommendation… even the things that could typically be a challenge of not placing a venue like this close to an airport/major city hub are a major plus: you have quiet surroundings and magnificent views and outdoor possibilities that I have not met in any other venue, that I have used.

We arrived on a Sunday. The ‘check-in’ was no more than an email, there was nobody to welcome us and show us our room. What was worse, after a five hour drive, the restaurant was closed, and - although several staff was present in the restaurant, and open bottles could be seen standing in the bar area, it was not even possible to buy a glass of wine. When asked we were told they were ‘not authorised’ to offer anything, as ‘the restaurant is closed’. Is that hospitality? If this basic service is not available, than a remote hotel like this one should simply not take bookings. The room itself was extremely basic, not even properly cleaned. The only positive was the presence of a nice B&O tv set, that took a bit of fiddling to get up and running. We stayed two nights, and used the instant coffee in the first morning, but nobody checked the room after the first night, so no fresh supplies had been delivered. Breakfast was served by a friendly lady, but without any indication of what she was going to serve, so a large part of what was served remained unused. The quality was reasonable, but the experience spoiled by constant buzzing of flies around the food on the table. Based on good reviews be tried dinner on the second evening. A disaster. Just 2 young and inexperienced serving staff were struggling to serve 30 guests. The starter was terribly salty, so we sent back half of it and explained why. The main course was simply inedible for the same reason. Clueless. The place feels like it is run by un-trained, un-supervised students, with no idea what it takes to work in hospitality. Finally, don’t book via *******, as they don’t include breakfast, which is silly for such a remote place. High price, poor quality and minimal service.

Room was perfect,dinner delicius, waiter the perfect mix of having a conversation and leave customer alone. Very good Wines. Breakfast big and exiting, again top service. Prices very, very fair even cheap. Topservice in the reception. I come back with wife, so She can experience herself.

Auf unserer Jütlandtour hier für eine Nacht eingecheckt: eine riesige Anlage rund um ein altes Landgut mit reetgedeckten Backsteingebäuden und weißem Herrenhaus im Artdeco- Stil. Dazu wurde ein stylisches Hotel als Riegel aus Holz ergänzt- klasse. Wunderbare Zimmer mit Oberlicht und Balkon zum Innenhof. Bequeme Betten und ein dezenter skandinavischer Einbau… eine ganz eigene schöne Atmosphäre. Wunderbares Restaurant mit gehobenen Speisen (Hecht an Spargel, Brunnenkresse und Erbsenpüree) und Preisen. Nettes junges Bedienungsteam mit Charme und Arbeitsfreude. Hierher kommen wir gerne wieder.
