Château Côte de Nacre

Well what an amazing chateau the cote de nacre is , on arrival we met the lovely host Sandra who was very friendly and polite, anything you need don't be affraid to ask her , we stayed in apartment jardin which was great 2 double bed rooms , very spacious nice kitchen area great shower with shampoo and shower gel provided, and super clean , coffee, tea and sugar provided, but bring your own milk lol , the grounds are amazing with a grand lake behind we all loved feeding the ducks and swans , there's a little bar just 5 mins away ,a great bakery too , and a little off licence, the Normandy memorial is just a walk up the road deffo worth a visit, all in all I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends,and am sure we will be back 👌👌

The was a fabulous experience. It was quiet, spacious, and within walking distance to restaurants. The owners were kind and generous people who went out of their way to make it a wonderful time for the whole family. The chateau sit on a large plot of land with a large pond which is great for a picnic.

stayed in the B&B souplex apartment which has a double room and with sofa as a bed for 1 child. Private access to the pool is fantastic and feeding the animals is great for any small children and even adults. The grounds and setting of the chateau is really peaceful and the village is quiet. You can walk to the British Normandy memorial in just a few minutes and have it to yourself in the early mornings and evenings which is a great experience. This was our 2nd visit and we'd definitely go back and would recommend to anyone.

Perfect in ever way. Fantastically well located for the British Memorial and reasonable distance from other sites of historic interest (D Day Landing beaches, Bayeaux, etc). You will need a car, like all rural venues in France. The apartment was genuinely beautiful, fantastically well maintained, spacious and well equipped. Some minor early issues with the cooker were quickly resolved by the owner, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. Pool is smaller than we had hoped and a little bit dark and dingy, but this wasn't enough to detract from our enjoyment. Nor was the guy staying the downstairs apartment who felt he had the right to rudely complain at us for making too much noise (not in any way attributable to the property owner). Outside areas were outstanding, beautiful green spaces and views. We had a top floor apartment so BBQs were inconvenient (food and drinks up several flights of stairs) but not enough so to stop us from enjoying them. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Cadre magnifique, dans un château historique. Au calme. Piscine intérieure chauffée. Grand parc avec une étendue d'eau. Nombreux animaux que les enfants peuvent approcher et nourrir (poules, lapins, moutons, canards, oies, cygnes). Appartement grand et très bien équipé. Décoration de bon goût. Propre. Literie de qualité. Parking sécurisé avec prise pour voiture électrique. Accueil très sympathique et chaleureux. Bien situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement. On a adoré !!!

Une merveille . Joli décor , confort top Et les contacts avec Sandra et Lionel très sympathiques. Nous sommes allés avec nos enfants et beaux enfants et nous avons tous appréciés cette parenthèse dans cette belle région . A deux pas de toutes les activités liées au débarquement.
