This is a charming boutique hotel with a friendly and helpful concierge and hotel staff. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast for a fee that is well worth it. The room was clean and quiet and had high quality bath products. The outdoor patio is lovely for enjoying a glass of wine while listening to the chiming of the bells of the cathedral nearby. The hotel is in the heart of Vezelay, a small hilltop village, and a short walk to restaurants and shops.

Very nice hotel near the cathedral. Beautiful room, nice hosts. Breakfast 17 euro a bit overpriced and in view of the room rate should have been included. There are no alternatives for breakfast in the neighbourhood so why not do so. Vezelay is a nice village but in say 2 hours to be seen. Would not stay there again as centre for visiting Burgundy.

The hotel is very comfortable and the room is perfect for a small village hotel. Near the Basilica, a very good restaurant nearby, has a fresh and quality breakfast, people are nice and give you great tips for enjoying the village and the area. We loved it!

Fantastic location in a small French village, authentic hotel in a quiet area. Very friendly personnel that speaks English. Spacious three-person room with airco and comfortable bathroom. Parking on a separate parking lot, but possible to unload car in front of hotel.

We spent three days in Vézelay at the wonderful Les Glycines. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were on the top floor in a very comfortable, clean and spacious room with a great view across the roof tops. It is the perfect location for the Basilica and close to the restaurant La Terrasse where we had excellent meals. The hotel directions were helpful and clear, as parking in Vézelay is not straightforward, so the advice to park near the Basilica was crucial. We would certainly stay at Les Glycines again. A unique and charming small hotel in a wonderful location close to the Basilica. A real treat to stay in such comfortable and welcoming surroundings. The staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful, the rooms spotless and well equipped.

Les Glycines is a very charming small place - ideal to explore the old alleys of Vezelay and its cathedral. We had a very warm reception, stayed in cosy old rooms and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I hope I can come back!

We had to change the booking very short-term, and the staff was very helpful and supportive. The location is excellent fir enjoying quiet evening and mornings at the cathedral, to avoid the tourist rush hours.
