Great hostel, owner is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Gaia and Porto, so its quiet, but also convenient. I got a private room in this hostel, but I'm sure a dorm room would've been fine. Free breakfast every morning and owner offers recommendations or engaging conversations about Portugal and Porto. They did my laundry for 10 euros too, which was great.

This hostel is convenient to the Gaia port, restaurants and cruise ship terminal. Easy walk to Porto. There is a steep hill from the port and 34 steps up to our suite on the first floor. We learned from our first night to close the double glazed window to eliminate the rumble of tyres on the cobblestone road. Our hosts and their staff were very friendly and accomodating to all our enquires including a reasonable priced shuttle to the airport. Be warned there are two identical addresses in Gaia 30 kms apart so make sure your driver takes you to the one near the port.

We loved to stay at the Hostel. We rented a single room and it was very clean, the breakfast was delicious and fresh. Also the Hostel is very well located, close to the metro, train, and also to de River. The Hostel is located at walking distance from loads of wineries. They were flexible with the check in and check out. Would definetely stay again.

The private room was nice. Had lots of space. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Within walking distance to the river for things like dinner. A bit further to the centre of Porto but easily doable by public transport.

Critiquei no site Booking sobre este Hostel, o seguinte: “uma vez que o check out era entre as 11 e as 12 horas a funcionária da limpeza poderia abster-se de não arrumar quarto contíguos com os aspiradores e afins às 9:30 da manhã”. Acontece que hoje recebi uma mensagem pessoal do senhor que gere este AL em tom muito desrespeitoso, pelo que terei de a expor publicamente, uma vez que o meu comentário no outro site não se encontra visível. Aliás, este senhor não sabe, claramente, gerir críticas e a frustração que elas lhe causam, basta ver a forma como responde a quem classifica com menos re “muito bom” o AL. parece uma cultura de terror!!!! Que falta de respeito!!!! Passo apenas para dizer que no Hostel ouviam-se os barulhos todos, pelo que avisamos que íamos ao festival mas não bebemos, pois levamos carro, e por volta das 2 da manhã chegamos ao Hostel. Fizemos o barulho de entrar, subir escadas e abrir e fechar porta do quarto. Não nos esbarramos com ninguém, absolutamente ninguém.

Un lugar con encanto y con un trato muy familiar. Está totalmente reformado, habitación limpia y con muchos detalles cuidadosamente colocados. El desayuno es muy variado. La calle donde está es de aparcamiento gratuito. Está en plena zona de bodegas. Buena estancia.
