My 2 small daughters and I checked in around 730 pm the night of our stay, and upon getting to our room and getting settled in I realized the fridge was not cooling. Adjusted the dial, made sure it was plugged in, waited 2 hours and it was hot. Not coming on at all. I called down to the front desk and was told I could give them our bag and that they would put it in their employee fridge or they would call back to see what could be done. Around 10pm, 2 employees show up, verify it isnt working, offered again to take our food and medication (needed to be refrigerated), i polietly declined again, so they brought me ice to keep in my bag overnight. I was told they had other fridges but needed a manager to "ok" us getting one. I was also told that upon check out, we would be compensated for our troubles and loss of food etc. I dis not ask for that, the 2 emploees in my room said that. Next morning upon check out, the lady at the desk sees nothing of any of this noted (which is bothersome that 2 employees are in a guest room for a maintenance call offering to take my things but no notation of this was made), i have to beg to leave my contact info for the manager, called later that day and the next, still never spoke to a manager. And not to mention breakfast doors closed at 840 (not 930) which was a bit inconvenient seeing as all extra food and lunches brought were lost because of not having a fridge. We have stayed here and other Hyatts before, will not be doing so again.
