The RN Hotels

Wow. This is a new hotel on the outskirts of Wadi Musa (the town next to Petra). It is beautifully decorated in velvet and gold geometry. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Everything is spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The public area is spacious and welcoming. The dining area is also spacious and the glass walls provide astounding views of Wadi Musa and beyond.... dinner with a view of the sunset dipping behind the renowned Petra mountains takes a lot of beating! Stunning. A balcony leads from the dining room/lounge. It is windy out there due to the hilltop location, but the views of the valley/mountains make it worth enduring the breeze. Food at RN Petra is wonderful. So many vegan options, very varied, and all absolutely delicious. The salads were wonderful. Halva for breakfast! The hotel has a pool. Small/deep/unheated...but very welcome on a hot day nonetheless. The 'spa' can be opened on request if 5 or more travellers are interested. There is a cafe a little further down the road and numerous other businesses, but I did not explore these. A walk from the hotel into Wadi Musa itself would be lovely, but the hill is steep and I would recommend a taxi back up. This will cost around 6 Jordanian Dinar. The hotel does not serve alcohol at all in line with local custom, but there are alcohol free versions available. This is an absolutely stunning place to stay while visiting the amazing ancient city of Petra. The best hotel I have ever stayed in (and likely ever will). The views here are out of this world.

Lovely clean hotel with pool and Turkish bath facilities. It's located just out of town so not possible to walk anywhere but a short cab ride if you have the energy after walking around Petra all day. Staff are friendly and very helpful - very good value for money.

Everything was so perfect. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious , the room was very clean and tidy . there's a Turkish bath it's the right option if you visit RN Hotel. my family and I enjoyed it. Thanks for everything, all the best guys

We were on a group tour, and our guide dropped our group off at the RN Petra Hotel and left us there to get checked in. The first few people from our group got check in fine, and then it came down to the three remaining couples. Clearly, the hotel was having issues that they weren't communicating to everybody. We waited in the lobby for around an hour before we were given keys to our room. They'd said at one point that the rooms weren't ready, but the issue seemed to be deeper than that. My husband finally went up and asked, "be straight with me. Do you have a room for us or not?" At that point, they explained that there was a computer issue or something so they weren't able to assign the rooms yet. It was a whole debacle. Dinner started at 6:30, and we were thisclose to just hauling our luggage to the dining room to eat, but then we finally got room keys and were able to head down to our room. We were on the bottom floor, and the small elevator could only accommodate a few people at a time so it took a while to move between floors. Our room was fine, but the hallway to get to our room was awkwardly narrow, and the bathroom in our room had a sewage smell. Another couple in our group commented that their room had a broken TV and blow-dryer, and they hypothesized that we had been given the rooms reserved for the tour guides. That was a lot of anxiety for that time in the evening, so it was a bit of a rough night.

So glad we found RN - quiet and right outside the bustling town center, with the back facing a beautiful rock wall. Hotel was recently reformed, stylish rooms, large spaces - dining room, coffee shop, but most key was the excellent service, from reception to front desk, restaurant etc, and excellent price compared to similar places in town.

The RN hotel was a nice hotel on the top of a hill around 15 minutes from Petra. The rooms were great with air conditioning and a huge bed. On the second day I showered there and after it smelled bad it smelled like sewer. I thought it would be over in a few minutes but after dinner we still smelled it. There is a TV with Netflix, Youtube and Prime video. Overall it is a nice hotel and only the douche could be better.

das hotel befand sich in aufbruchsstimmung.neues personal,neues management,neue küche.es gin alles etwas zäh,aber im urlaub hat man ja keine hektik.zimmer sehr geräumig,gute betten.beim frühstück machte sichdas neue personal bemerkbar.aber wir wollten ja sowieso nicht einziehen.muss man di chance auf besserung geben.personal war ja bemüht und freundlich.

L'hôtel est beau en apparence avec une belle vue sur Wadi Musa. Notre chambre était restaurée et moderne mais plutôt petite. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas (malgre mes réclamations) et il faisait relativement froid la nuit. La télévision ne fonctionne que via YouTube pour avoir des chaines Télé. Les repas (Dîner & P.dejeuner) étaient globalement bons mais manquaient un peu d'originalité. Établissement correct mais ambiance froide en cette période....Dommage.
