The captain camp is a wonderful place to sleep during your visit to Wadi Rum. There are several types of room: troglodyte rooms, traditional tents, luxury tents and bubble tents. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. The decoration is in the traditional style, with a large outdoor area and a pleasant campfire in the evening. Evening meals are very good and copious. Ayman made us very welcome, and we were lucky enough to have been upgraded. He's also a great advisor for all activities in the Desert

Captain Wadi Rum is a great location to visit in Jordan! Here are some of the activities and experiences you can enjoy there: Camel or bike ride: Explore sandy valleys and stunning desert scenery through a camel or quad bike ride. Sightseeing tour by car: Rent a 4x4 car and take a tour with a local guide to explore the most prominent landmarks in Wadi Rum, such as rock castles and archaeological sites. Rock Climbing: For an exciting adventure, try rock climbing in the stunning rocky valleys. Watch the sunset: Sit at one of the panoramic sites to watch the stunning sunset over the mountains of Wadi Rum. Camp in the Desert: Camp in the wilderness for a true experience of desert life, taste Bedouin food and enjoy the stargazing at night.

The Captains Desert camp was an awesome experience once in a lifetime, definitely would visit again though and highly recommend. The food was amazing very traditional and full of flavour. The panorama room was great. Had a wonderful view. The serve and service were awesome. We had Shisha as well as for buffet for dinner and breakfast, the bathroom was modern as well. As a Jordanian living in Australia coming here was a lifetime of experience!

Extreemly out of quastion tradetional desrert resort lovely camping experience Food very tastey and like no other plece ( The Zarb ) Very clean well organised warm welcome profissional staff Prices,very reasonable I really recommend this place

Captains camp was the best travel experience I've had! You're well taken care of by the staff and are made to feel very comfortable. Dinner was spectacular, especially the lamb and chicken cooked under the sand, traditional Bedouin style. The atmosphere is calm, wonderful and relaxing. Abu Adnan was especially hospitable, checking in with us and also did henna for my friends and I. Our tent was comfortable and clean, and great temperature. Can't believe this gem exists, and at such a great price!

A beautiful and wonderful camp when you enter it you feel that it is an oasis with a lot of palm trees and there is a beautiful reception and attention and smile Beautiful rooms varied and delicious food looking at the stars with the calm night that was beyond imagination

My first time at a Wadi Rum camp. The staff, the food, the peace, the ambience, the scenery, the service. Amazing. My room was clean, air conditioned and well equipped. Bedouin Zarb was beautiful and masterfully cooked. I have nothing to complain about. Ayman, the manager really took care of everything. Thank you so much!

Its is a very good plavce to stay in Wady Rum. People is amaizing very king and friendly. Eyman ( mr. Mostage) is an special person he were ready to help us in our necesities. The food is amaizing, they cook "smail" ( underground cooking), the flavours the chiken and lamb and buffet. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and had a great time , wonderful location and very well set up inside including a large outdoor area with a camp Fire at night Staff were very friendly and helpful organizing tours , Breakfast was good with nice selection and the evening meal was huge ( see photo ) As mentioned in other reviews you are staying in a tent so yes the water may not run as fast as a hotel but that’s all part of the experience, rooms were clean and comfortable
