Rooms very neat and kept clean. Well located and situated in Walvis Bay. Very cozy and I felt I was at my home. Friendly staff. The rooms is well equipped and laid out. The breakfast was very tasteful and nutritious. Enjoyed my stay at 22 On Main

Unfortunately I can’t agree with all the exceptional reviews of this guesthouse. The owners were on holiday in SA when we stayed there and no alternative nrs were provided. We waited 40minutes to check in. When we enquired about breakfast we were advised to rather have breakfast in town. The decor of the rooms are beautiful, but our room was dusty. The hostess thought it would be only one guest whereas our confirmation clearly stated 2 guests. There are plenty of cats on the property who climbs onto your bed if the balcony door is open. Parking is not sufficient when the guesthouse is full. Another guest complained that snacks they had left in their room were eaten in their room during the day while they were out. The stairs to the rooms are quite steep and made from deck wood and not advisable if you have back problems or trouble climbing stairs. The water turns cold if a second person showers and the water pressure is poor.

We spent a very good night in this guest house which was very refreshing in the middle of our nights in tent. The hosts are welcoming and accommodating, their room comfortable and well-decorated. In addition, if you like animals, the dogs and cats are happy to welcome you, as well as carp. If that's not your thing, they stay very quiet at home.

We spent a night here as a stop-over and it was well worth it. Our hosts effortlessly rearranged a room for me, as I struggle with stairs. The rooms were tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We even had a massive fish and chips dinner, which was delicious, from their restaurant (eaten in our room). We had a lon road ahead of us and we're so glad we ordered the breakfast. What a spread! We'd been on the road about a week so having fruit and fresh bread was a real treat. Thank you for a lovely stay!
