Hotel Zena

Beautiful property with lots of activities, plenty of chairs by the pool, good food and drinks. Only negative was not enough availability all of the specialty restaurants.

Our room had a lovely layout. The towels were fantastic! The bed was comfortable, and the view was very nice. It was a short walk to the White House. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant, a Croque Madame and Ginsburger, which were quite good, and the feminist artwork was spectacular!

Great hotel. Clean and beautiful decor. Bright and airy. Staff is very nice and accommodating too.

Not only is this hotel extremely overpriced, it charges you an additional "resort" fee of $30 per night--even though the pool and rooftop bar are closed for many months of the year. In no way is it a resort. That's a lot to pay for 2 cans of water!!!!

Conveniently located, easy to walk around close to the African American museum (15 min walk). Enjoyed the round shower, excellent at keeping the floors dry. It was off-season for the rooftop, so will have to go back o enjoy that.

Great service, the room was very stylish yet comfortable. All of the employees were very nice and helpful.

I had a very comfortable one night stay. The decor was beautiful and the location was convenient for my trip. The downside was ordering room service. I was told that they don't take pre-orders for breakfast, which was surprising. Posted hours for breakfast were inconsistent (some said 6:30 am and others said 7 am). I placed my order online when the website finally went live shortly after 7, which I thought would be enough time before my 9 am meeting a few blocks away (the website said to allow 30 minutes for processing and delivery). 30 minutes came and went, and after an hour of waiting, I called the front desk to check on my order. After being on hold for a few moments, the person asked what my order was, and then asked how I wanted my eggs. This suggested that my order had not been made at that point so I asked to cancel my order and for the charges to be removed from my account (which they did) so I wouldn't be late for my meeting. Maybe I should have checked on my order after waiting 30 minutes and I would have received food before I had to check out and leave? Who knows if that would have changed anything but it's odd that they don't have a system for taking breakfast pre-orders in 2024 (either online or through a door hanger). Not sure if this would prevent me from staying there again, but it was disappointing, especially because I had a food/beverage credit that I was unable to use because my french toast and eggs weren't prepared an hour after I placed my order.

It was a great quick gateway. The evening manager, receptionist and vale were super friendly and helpful.

Staff was super friendly from the time of check-in. Rooms are clean and well decorated. Make sure to check out the beautiful artwork
