Silent Creek Resort

Pictures are misleading and insta reviews are paid..we were fooled. place is overpriced and untidy. walls were cracked n had cockroaches in the room. the swimmg pool was just behind the reception and was untidy wd mud and not at all cleaned in weeks. the indoor playarea that they claim is just a carrom board placed near the reception desk and the archery that they claim is a board hung on a tree. nothing more. the toilet door in the reception is not even closing. the food is very expensive and food was tasteless wd excess of masala in every single dish. the staff wer not at all cooperative. They wont even attend the call. They ll disconnect the call and message you to send a message on watsapp. evn for emergency. we wer not able to even use the only good thing in the room -the balcony cz of the monkeys. we ll be scared to go to the balcony or even to open the window of your room cz of the monkeys.. such waste of money. we complained to MMT. lets see what happens next.

Nice ambience of forest. We took forest view cottage. Staff were so cooperative. Monkeys were there in balcony. Buffet breakfast was great. Pool was little uncomfortable and not maintained. Overall was a great experience. Trekking was provided to a nearby water stream.

A must visit place - yes, Silent Creek Resort, Wayanad. We a batch of friends visited silent creek for a weekend, it was like a getaway from our usual works. And I must say, the stay was so relaxing & refreshing. We were treated with luxurious stay, a Well-maintained natural pool and off course, delicious foods which included a good spread of breakfast, traditional Kerala lunch, evening snacks with tea/coffee and a perfect dinner. All the staffs were so helpful & available at a single call. Resort ***ager handled everything so professionally and yet so friendly. Last but not the least a big Thanks to the *** who made all these possible and handled with utmost comfort, Mr. Suhail -MD of silent creek. Can't pen down the memories we created for the rest of the life, Thanks for the whole team of Silent Creek. We all would love to visit again!!!

Beautifully positioned hotel set in the forest. The view from the room makes you feel as though you’re in the canopy. The rooms are comfortable and the wall to ceiling glass enhances the view. Food is good and there’s a swimming pool fed by filtered water from the hillside. There are roaming monkeys (beware of your belongings!) and lots of bird life. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful resort with lush green surroundings and yummiest homely kind of food i have had .recommended for natural lovers! A beautiful getaway to Enjoy with family Villa rooms were big enough with private pools.

Excellent stay overall. The pool-attached room was an absolute delight with fabulous views of the forested hillsides. Insects, birds. monkeys and a babbling creek were constant company during our 3-night stay. The food was freshly cooked, had local flour and was delicious. Resort staff were uniformly smiling and helpful with the General ***ager leading by personal example. The attached Ayurvedic Spa was crisply functional and reasonably priced. Leeches were the only irritant faced and we discovered that sanitiser was an effective remedy against them!

When the experience is not good, I tend to delay my feedback so the impulsive wave calms down before writing. As a family we visited the resort in Apr/2023 and I am writing this in June/2023. Must say cannot come off the poor experience we had @ the resort. Good part:- The location is excellent, about 1 km off main road at edge of valley. Rest is all:- Rooms are decent size – very poorly lit/dim, squeaky. Room Service – basic things need to be remembered at least 2/3 time. The distance from the HK & front office is far – so we cannot procure ourselves. Amenities – Had pool view room for a day, kids wanted to enjoy but had to literally beg the front office for 1.5 hr to send staff to clean and cleaning takes a solid 1+ hr. Food – regional cuisine mut be enjoyed while in travel conversely resorts have to prepare for diverse groups with varied food habits. More than half the items on the menu won’t be there. Payment – this is where It really ticked me off. The credit cards won’t work. They only take cash or UPI? The arguments presented by staff made me believe that they just wanted cash and were reluctantly ok with UPI. Credit Cards (which I used to book online) were not accepted. The occupancy was also low but still attention span of staff was very very poor. As a resort which is sitting at a prime/pristine property, there is a lot of work needed for improved hospitality & logistics to ensure top notch customer delight. As a family my experience was near hollow.

It was our anniversary day and we had planned an overnight stay at the Silent Creek Pool Villa... and to be honest, it was one heck of a day at the resort! We had a warm welcome at the lounge by the staff accompanied by a warm refreshing black tea after a long journey. The hospitality of the staff was evident in the way they handled our requirements with ease and friendliness. We were transported to the topmost room in a steep area in their vehicle. Our kids had lots of fun at the private pool with a scenic view on one side of the pool. The bathroom was spacious with all facilities including hot water, a bath tub for two and a shower cubicle. What specifically attracted me was the design and presentation of the bedroom and bathroom which felt like a second honeymoon with kids on our 9th anniversary 😂 One thing which we enjoyed with all our heart was the rain forest vibe while we took a stroll outside the resort. All we could notice were the beautiful flowers, shrubs, bamboo trees and as the name suggest, a silent creek beside the restaurant area. All the surrounding areas and the resort were well maintained and clean. Here, I should specifically point out the lady staff at the restaurant who helped us deal with our enraged toddler and let us have our dinner without a mess! The dinner had an elaborate Indian menu and the restaurant ambience had done a great job altogether. And, we were truly surprised by the Anniversary cake prior to the dinner arranged by the resort authorities! And who could ever forget the South Indian breakfast buffet accompanied with a nice chat and watching the kids having fun at the park nearby?
