We booked this property through my trip. Before confirming I called and asked about wheel chair accessibility and availability of lift 15-20 days in advance. As I was travelling with my family and my father is wheel chair bound. When we reached the property the lift was not working. Which made us wait for around 1 and half hours in the lounge. After travelling for 7-8 hours from Gangtok to Pelling, it was such a harassment. On further enquiry there was a battery issue which was ongoing for quite long. The property was full of elderly people and almost everyone was troubled and complaining. After a long wait, we finally had a word with some lift technician at Siliguri. Me and my friend ***** with one hotel staff troubleshooted the lift, after which it started working. Morning breakfast was again filled with misery. We were welcomed with a lack of staff and an empty buffet. Hotel staff was helpless as the management did not provide them with sufficient staff. This was supposed to be the most premium property of Pelling, yet it was so ill-managed.
