Premier Inn Weston-Super-Mare East (A370)

I always book Premier Inn as I can usually rely on them to be clean and comfortable. Not this time. The bed was as comfortable as usual, but the room was not exactly clean, as evidenced by the large dirty tee shirt that I found behind the bathroom door. There was quite a lot of dust, and some kind of blue liquid drizzle on the wall there too. The bedside table had a sticky ring mark from a cup as well. Staff were nice, but not always in evidence.

Second visit won’t be a third , pre booked for two nights stay , on arrival noticed large sign saying parking free for hotel guests and young lady on reception confirmed this so hopefully no parking fine arrives . Given key to room in new block , wifi absolutely terrible, hardly slept due to road noise and people in room above banging around for hours.couldn’t have window open for fresh air .room key didn’t work and not the only people with this issue, good walk back to reception to rectify it .All in all stuffy , musty smell ,noisy,carpark a total mess with rubbish and slippery leaves .

This premier in has two accommodation blocks. made a mistake of having a ground floor room as had Michael Flattery above LOL. Accommodation as expected Clean and functional. Hotel location between major road and a sport centre behind. Road noise high during the day time. On site Beefeater restaurant would definitely recommend booking a table if you are going to use it even mid week. . Meal Deal option as a premier inn guest however you don't find out what is excluded from the menu until you order which is frustrating. Free parking

Our only real problem was a musty smell in our room and the lack of an extractor fan. The smell was particularly noticeable on entering the room. The reception staff advised me that some extractors were turned off because of being noisy. The bathroom steamed up and without an extractor mold had started to appear above the shower

Beds are awesome, food in the Beefeater adjacent to the hotel is spot on, n9 complaints whatsoever about this hotel, i paid £42 for myself and the wife, highly recommended and ideal for a stop off prior to an early morning flight from Bristol airport

An excellent base to attend a local rugby match at the Hornets, literally across the road, to surprise my Dad who travelled from Leicestershire with Hinckley Hornets RFC, to play the Weston Hornets. A good room, comfortable and a great en-suite - very good shower. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had a good meal at the adjoining Beefeater restaurant and a good breakfast their on the following morning. Again - thanks to the staff recommendation, we booked for the evening meal and that was very good advice - clearly a popular venue on a Saturday night. Overall, a pleasant stay and exactly what we'd expected. The staff made us feel very welcome.
