Malika Apartments

The owners are lovely people and responsive to all my messages. They live next door to the apar**ents. The whole place is quite magical - a cool breeze seemed to blow through the beautiful gardens even when the wind had died down elsewhere. The apar**ents are cooled by this wind and the bedroom areas are air conditioned. The kitchens were well stocked and we didn't need to bring anything extra for our 4 day stay. We used the bbq on one occasion. The whole complex felt very secure which is important since you will want to hit the beach with as little as possible on your person. There is a path down to "the turtle beach" so it is only a 10 minute walk. Go early and you will be able to swim on your own with the turtles, go late with a bottle of wine to watch the sunset. Playa Kalki is 10 mins in the other direction with beach restaurants (during the day); Go West diving; great snorkelling and you don't have to fight for a parking spot! There are a couple of restaurants close by open on weekends and a couple more a 20 minute walk away. The roads are well lit so walkable at night. I think there are 6 apar**ents but really we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time. The pool area is serene; I think I went in 3 times every day. Just fabulous!

This place is a one of a kind hidden gem. It was immaculate and impeccable. It was very modern, stylish, chic, and very clean. The AC is only in the bedrooms but it can freeze you cold. The units have French doors which you can leave open for fresh air in the evenings and nights. There is hot water in the shower and the water pressure is super great. Adequate towels during our stay with a cooler for the beach. Each unit has its patio with chairs and tables. The property is very refreshing with all the palm trees around, a big pool, and a soaking tub with an outdoor shower. They have so many tables and chairs in the complex, with hammocks. Crowding will never be a problem. This place is located in the west end so a car rental is a must to fully enjoy your stay. If you are looking for peace, quiet, and comfort away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, this is the place to be. Everything is within driving distance to all scenic and tourist destinations since the island is so small… Best of all, Perza and Perry are the best host. They respond to your questions and needs very fast. They made sure we had a fabulous vacation.

The experience was like staying at a luxury hotel. I was traveling solo and chose malika as it offered kitchens, was small, and looked like it offered more attention. I was happlily surprised by the stylish modern apar**ent and the pristine pool area. There were only a few other guests. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Perfect place to stay in Westpunt and a great starting point to explore beaches and other attractions of the island. The facilities are outstanding, good cooking opportunities, available with Netflix and fast Wi-Fi all over the property. We spent most of our days at the neighboring beaches, which was only a ten minute walk, or fifteen minute drive, depending on which beach we visited. Last but not least, the hosts are amazing! Caring for their guests and checking in from time to time if everything is good.

Awesome place in the west of the island. Very cosy, very intimate with only a few apar**ents sharing a pretty large pool. The apar**ent had the basic necessities you need, plan to do groceries before (the hosts will remknd you) especially since you will have access to a small kitchen and an outdoor bbq. The hosts are very welcoming, Persita got us fresh fish from the local fisherman. 5 min walk to the "turtle" beach, few minutes drive to many more. Comfortable bedroom with very efficient AC. Very pleasant stay, the place feels like a small upscale Oasis.

We were at MALIKA Apar**ents for the month of February. From the moment we arrived Perry, Persita and Dayna went above and beyond to ensure our complete comfort. There are beaches within walking distance, excellent restaurants also. We were able to use the grill as much as we liked and the pool was so perfect to cool off and lounge by. Day trips to other beaches and Willemstad are easy to do. We enjoyed Curacao and MALIKA Apts so much we have already booked to return in 2024!

The apt. was in excellent condition, everything was very new and nicely decorated. The pool was nice and there was plenty of outdoor seating although we didn't use the seating. The owners are very attentive and nice. The only challenges we had were slow drains, mosquitos and no a/c in kitchen and bathroom, but understand that is typical in Curacao. The owners brought us a fan which helped make the kitchen and dining area more comfortable and they worked on the water flow in the bathroom and on the drains.
