The Cavendale

This was our third stay with Sam and Richard at The Cavendale and we still can’t find a single fault with the place. It’s immaculately clean and tidy with well appointed rooms with great views. The breakfasts are great and with variation to suit all. This is just a fantastic place to stay in fact, it’s impossible to imagine better. Richard and Sam are a lovely, friendly hard-working couple who will make sure you have everything that you need for an enjoyable stay. Don’t bother looking elsewhere. Stay at The Cavendale.

We had an excellent stay. Lovely hosts,couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Theroom had everything, for a grea stay. bed was comfy, seating to watch the bustling harbour view. An amazing breakfast with plenty of choice. Just great!!

Had a wonderful two night stay at the Cavendale. Richard and Sam are warm, friendly and attentive hosts. Our room had an amazing view, looking out at the harbour. The room was light, bright and had lots of little extras that made our stay so special. Great tv with Netflix and a fab tea tray. Our breakfast was delicious, a real treat. This lovely B&B is a home away from home. Thank you Richard and Sam.

Had a wonderful time here,what a fantastically professional couple running an exceptional B&B. Room was immaculate and very well appointed,the attention to detail cannot be faulted. Breakfast was a treat not to be missed, Very well presented with all the accoutrements you could wish for. Location doesn't get better,with superb views from the front and rear of the building,bay or harbour. I was so impressed I have already made plans to return next year.

Lovely place to stay, great location made very welcome. Everything you need is at hand really lovely couple.The room met all our needs, very clean. The view of the harbour was amazing, Thank you both.

I chose this hotel for it's close proximity to Weymouth Pavilion as I was working there as a member of crew for a show. It's only a 2 min flat walk away. It's also only a 12 min level walk from the train station. I arrived a few days before the show. I was greeted upon arrival by Sam and Richard and shortly afterwards met their daughter Chloe. They're some of the nicest people you could hope to meet and nothing is too much trouble. I have a milk allergy and Richard and Sam bought oat milk prior to my arrival. Unfortunately, when I arrived they had bought the wrong one but Sam was only too happy to go out and get the right one. I also got very little sleep the first night due to the pillows being too hard for me but after I mentioned this to Sam, she found me a soft pillow. They were so patient and kind with me throughout my stay as I have both Autism and Asperger's Syndrome and was very overwhelmed and a bit confused when I arrived. I felt very welcome and was well looked after. I stayed in the single room - Room 6. My room was very clean and comfortable. I didn't have an en suite but my private toilet was just down the hall from my room and I had access to a private shower room and toilet on the floor above. My favourite thing about my room was the view! WOW!! It looked out right over the beach and was THE BEST view I've ever had in any hotel I've ever stayed in! Amazing to wake up to and just as amazing at night when the shore is lit up with pretty lights! Breakfast was delicious every day and my special diet was well catered for. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough - it's such a wonderful place to stay! If I have the opportunity to go to Weymouth again, then I'll stay here. I hope I can come back very soon! Thank you all SO MUCH!

Comfortable and very clean All rooms, modern and nicely furnished Very hospitable friendly hosts Every breakfast cooked from fresh. Nice and near to everything. Definitely coming again. Attentive hosts. Lovely stay as always. Everywhere spotless and clean. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Stayed at this great b&b for 3 days Richard and Sam really do go above and beyond to make your stay a warm and welcoming one . Stayed in room 4 with harbour view , spotlessly clean 👌, comfy bed nice decor and a very full hospitality tray Couldn't of asked for more . The breakfast selection is exceptional, and the cooked breakfast is top knotch, Would say it's one of the best b&b we have Stayed at in weymouth, highly recommend and will definitely be returning to this little Gem in the near future.

The most perfect stay at The Cavendale. Easy, swift communication upon booking. Sam and Richard were super helpful and accommodating during our stay. Room was a good size, very clean and perfect location! Breakfast was spot on. No complaints, highly recommend! Thank you so much for our stay.
