This was our last night in South Africa before flying out from KMI airport, and what a great place to finish an epic trip! Susann was super helpful and professional, our room was lovely - comfortable, clean and spacious, breakfast was delicious. Lounge with fireplace and shelves of books, dining room inside and outside seating area with sky and trees all around. Absolutely loved the garden, the pool, the view! Sitting on the swing bench up on the granite outcrop under a full moon was just the cherry 'on top' (:)). Thank you Susann and staff. I would have loved to spend more time at White House Lodge.

We had a very pleasant stay! We could not collect our rented car due to the late arrival of our plane, Susann was so kind to serve as a shuttle. We were very grateful. We can fully recommend this lovely and friendly place and I am sure we will come back again.

After arriving late in the evening, we required accommodation for the night before moving on. The White House Lodge provided everything we needed. The owner kindly met us,showing to our room and explaining all the facilities

Host Susann is wonderful! Everything was perfect including breakfast & airport transfer. Recommend Liked · Breakfast was lovely. Very enjoyable. We took up a transfer option from the Airport with the host which was a good idea since our flight arrived late. Great communication at all times.The room also perfect and a beautifully kept and presented property. Wish l was staying longer. Such a friendly welcoming host. We loved our stay. Highly recommend this accommodation.

We rented the Cottage and we had a pleasant stay. The Breakfast was good. the honest bar is good to have with good choice of cold beer wine and cold water. The prices are very reasonable. The host are very helpful. The scenery is beautiful and calm, having a glass of wine on the terrace watching the night set in. There is a swing on the rocks a must go the view when you are swinging. The place is not far from White river where you have all what you require. One can also go on a daily scenic drive, just amazing.

Wow. What a place... Planned as a one night stay between flights, we arrived to stay two nights at Susan and Detlef and was magical. Nested on a large property, of beautiful view, with a sense of privacy and safety, care and I would say a touch of luxury, White House was the best report quality vs. price we had on three weeks spent in South Africa. Susan waited for us at the airport, showed us the place and suggested a trip for the next day, And spent a lot of time. to arrange, last minute, a perfect trip for us! 😊 We had dinner at the lodge and food was amazingly well cooked, from fresh ingredients. A very good small cellar was available, too. Close to Kruger National Reserve, Blyde River Canyon and Panorama Route, White House deserves longer stays. Owners are wonderful people and their personality shine over the place. We would wish to return...

The White House Lodges is just outside White River set in lovely grounds with good security and a view of the valley. Susann was there to greet us on arrival and also provided an evening meal as requested in advance. There is a fridge freezer available for guests to use and an honesty bar with a good selection of wines, etc. Breakfast was continental style with an additional choice of egg dishes. Recommended B&B accommodation.

A little gem away from the city and into the country side not too far from the shops and restaurants as well as KMIA.A really lovely place that is tranquil with friendly hosts. Thank you for making our stay welcomed.
