I actually didn’t end up staying, booked it for the incorrect weekend.

when we got to the facility they didn't have our reservation. had to wait while they called *******. once we got checked in they gave us a room key and we went all the way to the room opened the door only to find someone elses stuff in the room. so we sent back to the front desk... they then assigned us to a double bed room when I reserved a king. so back to the front desk again. on the 3rd try we finally got a room with a king bed. the front desk clerk stated they would credit our stay for all of the issues.

Always a pleasant stay at the Wichita Tru. Convenient location to entertainment and dining as well as other Wichita sites. Good place to stay if you are a WSU parent as well as it is close to campus and not too pricey. Enjoyed the workout facilities and the free breakfast.

The shades in the room were inoperable and I understand the problem has existed for over a year without resolution.

My only complaint is there is no drawers/dresser. We always unpack our suitcase, and put our clothes in drawers. But that is my only complaint. It was a nice, clean hotel. It always smelled so nice when you walked in. It was super quiet. You couldn't hear people walking the halls. I will definitely stay again.

This was our second stay at a Tru property and we had another pleasant experience. Check-in was simple and quick and the front desk staff were friendly, professional and courteous. I especially like how the front desk didn't feel like a traditional hotel check-in desk and really blended in with the main floor, which included the breakfast area, pool table, TVs and several casual but comfortable seating areas. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. There were several dining options at this property in the northeast part of Wichita. Thanks, Tru, for a pleasant and great stay. I'm a fan!
