American Safari Motel

房間內還好，簡單整潔，有小小的爐灶和廚具，冰箱是正常冰箱，足夠用了。但洗手間很小，水龍頭和馬桶都有點小問題，電視是壞的，但我們也沒太大需求，就放棄不看了…公用的地方樓梯比較簡陋，不確定是衞生的問題還是在海邊太近，鐵質樓梯有點銹跡斑斑的，犄角旮旯基本都堆滿了垃圾之類的，公共區域的衞生不太過關。 這個汽車旅館最主要勝在地理位置，走到海灘特別方便，有較好的停車位，很方便，游泳池不大，但孩子玩的很開心。

I AM NOT THE TYPE TO WRITE BAD REVIEWS , but… Do not rent a room here you can get way better rooms for the same price down by the beach. This place is a scam. They charge way too much for what it is. It’s old and dirty. We had booked for three nights at the hotel next door, the Aztec, and when we got there, the old fridge had leaked all over. They gave us a second room at the Safari saying it would be a bigger room! It was exactly the same And The toilet was broken and hadn’t been flushed ! there were dirty old Q-tips in the bathroom. I asked a refund because we wanted to leave and they refused. They made us stay the night in that dump saying we would lose $600. I had to find the phone number of the manager, only after that they agreed to refund the two remaining nights. We found cheaper for our two other nights in a much cleaner hotel right by the beach!!

The room was dirty upon arrival from bath towels, floors, even menstrual stains on the toilet bowl. The stove was broken as was the dresser. Wifi was spotty at best. Beds were harder than rocks, an actual rock night have been more comfortable. The blinds fail to keep out any light namely the giant glowing motel sign that pierces the windows 24/7 with the intensity of a sunrise. Overpriced to the point of embarrassment. The proximity to the beach is the only good thing which is why I gave it one star. (I would give it a 0 but that's not possible so I give you a one). Don't waste your time or your money.

Looks like the last review on this property was 10 months ago, so here are my updated observations: 1) Pool was small but CLEAN (and so were many other pools at the other motels in the are) and open till 9 PM 2) Room/linens/bathroom were CLEAN. Bathroom looks dated but we planned on spending most of the day outside of the bathroom anyhow. 3) Reduced 4 star to 3 star because of broken blinds, improvised to cover up holes and make sure slats blocked outside. 4) Full size fridge and microwave 5) TV's did not work with remotes. 6) If you need more than 2 outlets bring a power ***** or extension cord (I always carry them since CPAP and chargers need more than one outlet!) 7) Called to make reservation as opposed to booking online. 8) Wifi reception was OK, back room had virtually none while the front and porch were good. If you are looking for a basic place to stay overnight, this is conveniently located and does the job.
