Dolphin Suites & Wellness Curacao

Beautiful hotel, very kind and helpful staff. Enough facilities, so you don't lack anything. The beautiful Reef's cafe where you can have breakfast and lunch. We stayed in the still old part of Dolphin Suites, but there too we had everything we needed. It has an excellent location near Mambo beach.

We were very pleased with our stay of six nights. The room was very good size and attractively furnished. The staff at the Cafe was quite helpful and friendly. The pools were beautiful and the garden was well maintained. We travel a great deal and this hotel is definitely better than average. The beach is a very short walk away as is nice restaurants and some decent shopping. I'm not going to claim that this hotel is perfect. I don't think any of them are. But I am willing to say that it's very good. We had a little trouble with the TV but I can't claim that television is very important to me. There was a significant amount of construction noise, but I'm sure that is temporary and it was a minor inconvenience, not a great problem. If I were going to try to make some low-cost efforts to improve this hotel, I might suggest some better selection of pillows, and a couple of the mattresses had palpable impressions on them, but not bad enough to bother people who don't have real problems sleeping (as I do). The reading room above the pool is a delightful addition.

We did the lovely Dolphin therapy at CDTC and we where happy that they advised us to stay in your hotel, it was so easy for our family to go from and to the hotel! Mambo beach is also very wheelchair accessibele and safe for childeren to play at the beach and the water! We stayed in the new hotel, it is beautifull and vey comfy! It is still very new so they need to fix some small things still and there is need of cleaning cloths and tea towels in the bigger appartments. But that will be taking care of, i'm sure! The people who work on the desk are very friendly and helpfull, also the restaurant REEF is very nice to eat breakfast or lunch. It is lovely and everyone is very helpfull! Our childeren felt very at home and loved the homey atmosphere. There were a few extra kind front desk workers, Sunshine's of the hotel we'd call them! They know what hospitality is in all ways, helpfull, friendly, kind to the kids and always positive to find a solution! That's what people come back for!!! Keep the Sunshine's in and pay them well, it will help your hotel to stay fantastic!!! The only thing that needs a bit of attention is the cleaning, it is such a beautifull place and to keep it that way for a long time i think the hard working staff needs better supplies to clean, like a vacuum cleaner. You can not clean rooms with so much beach sand and wheelchair dust with a broom... There is a lift in the pool for disabled people, but is was often switched of. It is better to keep it on for the guests best use! The last thing i wanted to say is that the lady of the spa was wonderfull! She was really good at her job and made our holliday even more relaxed! Thanks everyone for the GREAT stay, we WILL come back for sure!!!!

The accommodation was very good. The main problem was the constant (loud) drilling due to a new wooden structure being installed outside in the gardens. Upon arrival we were told it would only be for2 days whilst preparations for the hotel anniversary party were completed. It in fact lasted for the full 9 days.

Totally unresponsive and did not help us at all during a family emergency. Out thousands of dollars. Could not recommend them for anything

We stayed here for about a week and this hotel was the best part of the entire week. The suite was large and in excellent condition. The front desk was manned substantially by interns from Europe who were both knowledgeable and helpful. The kitchen has a sufficient amount of equipment. This hotel is within easy walking distance of very nice beach and nice restaurants. The hotel also offers a nice little café, two pools and a nice garden. If you stay here, you may want to rent a car unless you're going to spend the week getting Sun at the beach. The drive to downtown is about 15 minutes. The drive to a market is about seven minutes. About an hour away by car you will find The opportunity to swim with sea turtles. If I were going to make a few suggestions I would want the hotel to add a better variety of pillows and I noticed that some of the mattresses should have been flipped or replaced.

The best and biggest hotel room I’ve ever been in. This hotel caters to people in wheelchairs and I thought that was great. The bathrooms are big. The rooms and balcony are huge. You don’t have a view of the sea anymore because they are building a hotel in front of it. Still a great location though. Two minute walk to mambo beach. Pool was nice. There is no bar and only a breakfast and lunch restaurant that takes forever to get your food. Don’t be in a rush. The bed is good but the pillows are the worst ever. They are hard uncomfortable, square couch pillows. Never seen anything like it in all my travels. I asked for normal pillows but they didn’t have them. The people who worked here were very nice. I definitely would stay here again because the rooms and service were great. Just need better pillows.

I cannot fault the rooms or the facilities--they were all great. The room was large and clean with a cooking area. There's a nice pool to spend some time. It's located at walking distance from Mambo Beach. The price was a lot higher than should be expected from a hotel at this level, but that's common in Curaçao.

I travel a lot, and I'd rank the professionalism of the staff here a 10/10. Everyone was courteous and caring. The property & room were immaculately clean. The food in the restaurant was the best we ate during our 4-day stay in Curaçao. I'd definitely stay here again! I highly recommend this hotel.
