Without any doubt one of the very best places to stay while on Kangaroo Island... superb location with amazing views, delicious meals and breakfast, very friendly staff... we stayed for 5 nights, and after every excursion we did, this was a wonderful place to come home to...absolutely the most important ingredient to make our holiday on KI unforgettable! The entire Island can be visited from this rather remote spot; it takes some driving, but then the drives themselves are always relaxing and scenic, so don't worry about that...

One of the best holidays we have ever had -3 days at the Sea Dragon paradise. There are so many positives including a beautiful room and great food. However the highlight was the wonderful hospitality provided by Karen and her team. We would have no hesitation in returning to Sea Dragon one day.

Sea Dragon is billed as a luxury resort but it needs a lot to get there.. it’s just a lot of little things which grate..inexperienced staff, limited breakfast setup, the cabins are ok but not luxurious, roads in the property need upgrading ect. Its location at one end of the island is a negative as you do a lot of driving to get to the other end of the island. We enjoyed it but the cost did not match our expectations of the level of our experience we had expected. It wasn’t bad but could be better

This is one of the best places we have ever been at. Marvelous rooms, excellent kitchen, breathtaking view, nice personnel, interesting organized tours with well prepared guides. Kanguroos, wallabies, birds, exciting wildlife in the neighborhood.

The hotel is located on the east side of the island. Lying isolated with a lovely view of the sea. The estate is full with kangaroos, who were greeting us in the mornings and at dusk. The rooms are tastefully furnished and clean. Half board was included with excellent continental breakfast and very good dinner. Great service as well. We participated in the organized tours/excursions to different parts of the island and the were also great.

After a short drive on pebble road, we arrived at a unique place at Kangaroo Island. Fantastic ocean view from every room or lodge and a very warm welcoming owner from Pfalz/Germany. We joined a wonderful tour to the scenic locations of the island (remarkable rocks, admirals Arch and Seal Bay). We drove with Brigit, who had great and entertaining stories to tell! The offered menu’s did not yet comply with the views, room design, service and caring service.

Stayed in lodge 2......for 3 nights simply not enough after 2 days of trips would have loved to stay 1 more night to enjoy the lodge and the kangaroos and the beach et c ...loved this stay....the fresh air the beautiful lodge the gorgeous food quality and presentation they are doing a great job and are bothered that you are enjoying yourselves .....just lovely ...

We had such a great trip here ! Really recommend it to anyone looking to stay on Kangaroo Island. The setting was beautiful with animals everywhere ! The food was also delicious and the bed was very comfy. Would stay there again without a doubt !

Really enjoyable stay at this quality location. We had Lodge 5 which overlooked the bay & beach - stunning. The kangaroos are plentiful on the estate and close by so “up close experience is simple”. The food and daily experience trips are also good quality and enable you to understand the island better. If you are heading to the island soon (Jan 24) head to the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery as they have a “joey” in reception ready for a cuddle. The owners and team at this hotel have one main objective, to ensure all guests have a wonderful experience. They achieved this and some.
