酒店周邊環境非常漂亮，酒店內部乾淨整潔，老闆人非常熱情，自製的蜂蜜飲品很好喝，非常適合小情侶旅行入住。

Albergo carino.Camere pulite e spaziose. Ubicato fuori dal paese, in una piccola località , tra poche abitazione e una vegetazione lussureggiante. Gestore gentile.

Cozy place to sleep in a sleepy, cozy town. It had everything we needed. There was no reception, just keys at the front and a list of assigned rooms. The rooms were spacious, the food in the restaurant was delicious. Staff was friendly. All in all, could not complain

Lovely place to stay in an amazing area with a really nice owner who couldn't go more out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. Amazing walks to be done straight from the hotel (ask the owner for an app recommendation for walking in the area) in this beautiful area. Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was unfortunately closed, which wasn't ideal as it was a bit of a search around the place for a decent place to eat on the days we were there (when a lot is closed in the area). Tip: if you're not a great fan of loud church bells during the night, ask for a room at the back!

We stopped off here by chance, looking for somewhere at the end of a long day. A very good decision! The hotel lies up a beautiful valley that feels far away from busier touristic sites but is actually less than 10 minutes from the main road. A pleasant curated walking path follows the river up the valley, passing directly in front of the hotel. Perfect for an evening run for one of us. The hosts gave us a delightful welcome, kind and gracious. English spoken but they were happy to continue to accommodate our enthusiastic though hesitant attempts at speaking German. A lovely mix of discretion & welcoming kindness. They had clearly informed us over the phone that the restaurant was currently closed but that breakfast would of course be served. (A gleaming new kitchen is in the last stages of being built). We had supper 10mns away in beautiful Wolfach — a charmingly quaint little town. A lovely buffet breakfast was served in a sunny room, with a terrace outside (too cold this time!). The family room was spacious, with 2 separate beds for the children. Although it faced the road, this is a very quiet stretch, with the happy gurgle of the brook more noticeable than cars. We are sorry not to have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Ignore what you read on other websites or booking sites about the great bar and restaurant. They are closed and have been for months as the receptionist told me when she opened the door to the clearly broken kitchen. You will find yourself in the middle of nowhere faced with a 5km drive down a dark winding road into Wolfach to find some dinner. Worse, you will have to do the same to get some breakfast – there is nothing in Kirnbach village and this hotel can’t even be bothered to provide some bread rolls for breakfast in your room. The rooms are clean but nothing to get excited about (especially on the top floor where you only get a rooflight). English not spoken here (maybe in the tourist season) Wi-fi practically impossible to connect to if you have an i-Phone, i-Pad or macbook and there are no instructions in the room. This is the only time I had this problem during my 2 weeks in Germany. And don’t leave any cash laying around as it might go missing (even if it is in an envelope) If you are touring the Black Forest do yourself a favour and avoid Hotel Sonne and stay instead in one of the hotels in Wolfach such as Gasthaus Hotel Hecht which has a great restaurant for dinner and breakfast, a warm welcome and free parking at the rear.
