Hotel Restaurant Alpenblick

Alpenblick is one of these rare moments, where you wonder, if this was a good idea or not - and it was! The buildings are old - and so are the rooms, but that is OK. If you want Scandic or Best Western, or something 5-starish, then go there and leave Alpenblick alone for the rest of us to enjoy. Everything is neat, tidy and clean. WiFi works when it does - we are at the foot of the Jura mountains, so relax and spend your day in the fantastic nature instead. With a clear sky, you actually do have an Alpenblick, but the surrounding mountains hide more than plenty of adventures and beauty. Traditional swiss-style breakfast - dairy, Müsli, cheese, meats, local bread (yum!) and criossants. You need nothing else. The restaurant (beware, monday and tuesday are Ruhetage) is very good, you get traditional local cuisine - and if you fancy something not on the menu, Fredi the Hotellier might be able to conjure up something. A fantastic place.
